Sugar and Spice: Excuses, Excuses, Excuses
http://dyannbarr.blogspot.com/2012/09/excuses-excuses-excuses.html
Sunday, September 2, 2012. Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. One thing you have to understand about me is this- I hate not turning in papers on time, not getting work done when I'm supposed to, and most of all, breaking my promises. My self-imposed deadline for my new book came and went. I set a new date. That one flew by me at light speed. The third one loomed closer and I knew it was a no go. My agent, Jewelann Cone of Cascade Literary Agency has been patient with me. God bless the woman. Excuse No. Two: ...

Alvania Scarborough~ Romance for the Adventurous at Heart: July 2014

Saturday, July 5, 2014. The Wild West … Florida? But those early cattle adapted. (I have a feeling the early ranchers did a sight of cussing along with the adapting.) Ranches sprang up, dozens of them by 1700. By the 1800’s, when settlers moved south in search of new pasture, so did the cattle. Then along came the railroads. With transportation, the beef industry grew. What does all this have to do with the Wild West, you ask? You have cattle, people and horses. What’s missing in this picture? And lots o...

Dolores Wall Maroney: September 2010
http://yourfavoritepaperbackwriter.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Just another way to keep up with my busy life. Monday, September 13, 2010. Fat Lady on a Treadmill - This Isn't the Pocono's Toto. Today was the day I pledged to get back into my routine. That means a bit of breakfast, and then off to the pit. Memory kicked in and I found the locker room, right where it had been the last time I was there. Since the Pocono Pit had cubbies, not locker room, even this was going to take some getting used to. I won’t go into details, but I will mention one word,...Since March...

Jacks Office: March 2012
http://jackschnerk.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 26, 2012. A new character - - - BACK to writing/publishing! I found a new character. Actually, perhaps 3 or 4 new characters. Who cares? When I took Comparative Literature, they taught that there were a small number of basic story formats. Looking at an author like Zane Gray, how many very similar westerns did he write? My grandfather sat in his easy chair and read those, one after another. Actually, come to think of it, Pendajo. A bunch of the people from Xanadu. Posted by Randall the Mover.

Jacks Office: February 2012
http://jackschnerk.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 23, 2012. I haven't had a drink in a month. This is perhaps only the second time in my adult life after say, 25, that I can say that! Some people can drink "socially" and some can't. A whole branch of my family, from what I've seen, shouldn't drink. I feel better, I guess. In another month will begin the great diet. One of the funniest things I've ever heard of is my brother in fuzz. God was mom pissed. Somebody has to have a collection of stories. I'll post it if I find it. I also fou...

Jacks Office: Jack is Back ~~ The Official Finance Schnerk
http://jackschnerk.blogspot.com/2012/03/jack-is-back-official-finance-schnerk.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Jack is Back The Official Finance Schnerk. I drifted away from this blog a while ago. My investing was boring. How these guys who have no positions of their own, can successfully work on securities trading, is a mystery to me. The current strategy is to make small high risk bets (yeah that's right, call it for what it is, gambling) and expect to lose a bunch of them. How does this work? Enough for me to live on. The critical thing is, DO NOT LOSE YOUR CAPITAL. Jack is Back The ...
