The Mystery Stole 3, aka Swan Lake Stole, has been completed, blocked, and worn. This was my first lace knitting project, and I'm thrilled to have been a part of such a wonderful group of ladies, and to get to test drive a beautiful pattern. Thanks to Melanie. Friday, April 17, 2009. Easter was a wonderful time, we colored eggs, had easter baskets, an easter egg hunt, and brunch with our extended family. Unfortunately, my batteries went dead, so I only got pictures of Kiera finding her basket. Kiera found her basket in record time! The LA County Yarn Crawl starts today, Thursday April 6 and as part of the crawl I'm having a trunk show at The Little Knittery. My designs from the Interweave book "Highland Knits, Knitwear Inspired by the Outlander Series". The trunk show is from 4-7pm with a raffle being held at 7pm for a copy of "Highland Knits" and a skein of Cascade Magnum (there's a surprise raffle too! If you're in the area, come on by!
