knit3tog: Oh Hai knitting blog!
http://www.knit3tog.blogspot.com/2009/04/oh-hai-knitting-blog.html
Oh Hai knitting blog! Nursing school has continued to monopolize the majority of my time. Rather than knitting needles and fabulous soft yarn these hands hold a highlighter and text book for hours on end. BUT in a compromise that in my mind makes total sense, I am knitting me a heart. A very nice soft anatomical heart. I can't wait to see your knitted heart. I might make one for my sis. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The loves of my life.
knit3tog: Blocking the kid's simple lacey scarf.
http://www.knit3tog.blogspot.com/2008/10/blocking-kids-simple-lacey-scarf.html
Blocking the kid's simple lacey scarf. How hard was that scarf to make? It is beautiful. Knitting lace looks like it is fun. It also looks hard to do. Great job. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The loves of my life.
knit3tog: Ravelry Mini-Mart
http://www.knit3tog.blogspot.com/2008/12/ravelry-mini-mart.html
And your cursed mini mart. Of way too cute t-shirts. I have the "daily dose of fiber" one in green, and the nice maroon "disagree(1)" as well. Now, I HAD to get the new one, the one of Bob in the yarn pile? OMG the cuteness. And they are all American Apparel Ts. So soft and comfy. But look at BOB! Photo from ravelry mini-mart. That is such a cute shirt! I tagged you for a Meme on my site www.knitfiber.blogspot.com. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The loves of my life.

knit3tog: Cuppycake
http://www.knit3tog.blogspot.com/2008/12/cuppycake.html
I whipped up this cute hat for a co-worker who is due to have a baby girl on Christmas. It was fast, and easy, and really cute when finished! Its on ravery under Cupcake Hat. Its a free pattern, and there are a ton of completed versions to check out with fun yarns that look like sprinkles and such. Some knitters have even sewn on little beads and sequins to look more sprinkle-y. Now my daughter (who is 8) wants one too! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! This is quite possibly the cutest thing. EVER.

Yarn, Cakes, Me - Greenerknits: Geetha? Githa? Gytha.
http://greenerknits.blogspot.com/2009/05/geetha-githa-gytha.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Even if I don't know how to pronounce it, such a beautiful sweater. After the winter issue of the Twist Collective. Came out I was in love with this sweater. A little bit of colourwork, which I love. A little bit of stripes, which I love. A hood, which I love. So, when putting together a Xmas list for my husband I added a link for the pattern and a link to Green Mountain Spinnery. With the colours and amounts I needed specified. We certainly don't need him guessing about that!

Yarn, Cakes, Me - Greenerknits: September 2009
http://greenerknits.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Let the baby knitting begin! Sometime, mid-January-ish I will be provided with a new niece or nephew. Courtesy of my brother and his lovely wife. We do not know the flavour of this baby, we will find out in January. I am very much looking forward to that phonecall. Until then I will continue to collect various cute little baby patterns that I may or may not knit, I keep changing my mind. Legwarmers? I have made two, here. In less than a week. Man I love stranded colourw...
Yarn, Cakes, Me - Greenerknits: Ketchup
http://greenerknits.blogspot.com/2010/02/ketchup.html
Friday, February 12, 2010. Catsup, or catch-up. This time, I think catch-up is the appropriate term. So here, as succinctly as I can, the knitting that finished up 2009. After the Tulip baby set, which I now get to give to my NIECE born January 11, 2010, I knit In Season. Next up was Kristi. Because I wanted to, and because I was going to The Needle Emporium. Knitting camp and was going to meet and take classes from Cookie A herself. It was awesome and so much fun. Next there was a hat for a little girl.
Yarn, Cakes, Me - Greenerknits: June 2009
http://greenerknits.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Sock club socks and socks and socks. First up, the March 2009 Rockin' Sock Club kit. I like the colourway alright, liked it better in the skein. Than knit up. The colour is Gertrude Skein, mediumweight socks that rock and the pattern is Rogue Roses. By the Yarn Harlot. Herself, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. The socks are just OK. Not my favourite, but I don't really dislike them. Knitting the little rosebud was kind of cool. The yarn is Sundara. Booty Club. Merino/Tencel, colourwa...
Yarn, Cakes, Me - Greenerknits: Ahhh, vacation
http://greenerknits.blogspot.com/2009/08/ahhh-vacation.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2009. We have recently finished a nice little mid-summer vacation. Jer was able to get a nice chunk of time off again this summer and has (again) successfully packed full of stuff to do. The best part of all, was the trip to a cottage we rented (it belongs to a colleague of Jer's). I packed a few different projects to take along, covering different yarn weights and pattern difficulty. A couple of socks (I'm have trouble starting my second Fraggle Squiggle sock. Now I need to finish ...
Yarn, Cakes, Me - Greenerknits: Late again
http://greenerknits.blogspot.com/2009/09/late-again.html
Thursday, September 10, 2009. Once again I have been writing a blog post in my head for weeks, but have yet to sit down at the computer and actually type it out. In the mean time, I have finished, and started more projects. Shocking right? First up, the beloved, Shawl that Jazz. That I finished almost a month ago. It's thick and cozy and warm and squishy, and blue. I love it. After this was done, I sort of had to make myself finish my May Rockin' Sock Club. Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin' Sock Club May 09.

Yarn, Cakes, Me - Greenerknits: July 2009
http://greenerknits.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2009. So, I've bought a little bit of blue yarn lately. It wasn't intentional, it just kind of, happened. It started in April, with Sundara's Year In Color - April. I loved the charcoal over blue lagoon sock yarn. Loved. It. Still do, so even though it's a little costly to buy directly from Sundara with Canadian shipping, I bought 2 skeins of the sock yarn and promptly forgot about it, since shipping wasn't going to happen until June. Harmony Semi-solid club shipped and this arrived.
