Putting the lid on. 17 and 18 Oct 11. Happy New Year 2014. Nov - Dec 2014 update. July 2016 brings good and bad news. 28 Aug 2009 - Visitors. Sunseed visit - 28 Aug 09. Today saw the highest number of visitors on one day 17 visitors from Sunseed. This caused a traffic jam on the country lanes when our minibus and two cars came up against two bat-mobils (almond picking tractors) and two farmer's cars. Thanks to all for your visit and enthusiasm.

Putting the lid on. 17 and 18 Oct 11. Happy New Year 2014. Nov - Dec 2014 update. July 2016 brings good and bad news. We're doing a little experiment - do rabbits like onions? There is evidence of rabbits, and lots of them, on the land so planting cabbages or lettuce seems foolish until we can fence off an area. But what about onions? I bought a bunch of white onion sets from the market and decided to see. Bring it on bunnies. Dave just loves sitting on his beams.

She lives in Australia with her hubby and their 4 kids so I don't get to see her very often. Of course I had to show her the 'ship. Sorry about the bunny ears Ali - the old ones are always the best. We've been having very unseasonal weather lately, lots of cloud and rain and much cooler than previous Mays here. Which is very good news when we want to skip a week at the land. Lots of rain means no need to water the new plants on the land. In fact we skipped two weeks working on the earthship. Last week we had friends to stay and this week we had ducklings to care for.
