Farm Genevieve: in like a lion...
http://www.farmgenevieve.com/2014/03/in-like-lion.html
Sunday, March 9, 2014. In like a lion. Winter is hanging on a bit too long this year. March started off no different than the previous three months. Our poor animals have had a long season of trudging through the snow and ice. I know a sheep or two that are tired of hay and looking forward to some green pastures. The ducks and geese, leaving frozen footprints in the snow, and dreaming of their swimming pool. Spring trees have had enough, too, and are budding out. Take that Old Man Winter! I dyed 21 6 oz ...

Farm Genevieve: the winter that never ends...
http://www.farmgenevieve.com/2014/02/the-winter-that-never-ends.html
Saturday, February 8, 2014. The winter that never ends. It seems that today is our "snow day" and we've gotten a couple of inches so far. Monday will be our "frigid day" with temps down around -14F. We're all a little over winter around here. Chillin' chore dog, Zuzu loves this weather! Mad Maggie, although truth be told, she's always cranky! And winter weary Walter. Only 39 days until spring! February 09, 2014. 39 days seems like an eternity! Its too cold out there! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Raising a Yarn Store: Fall Update, Projects, and Fun
http://knitandknotyarn.blogspot.com/2013/11/fall-update-projects-and-fun.html
Raising a Yarn Store. Monday, November 25, 2013. Fall Update, Projects, and Fun. I like to think that technology will help all of us use our time more efficiently. That's why having a blog embedded in my website sounded so good! And then, just as quickly, my website crashes and has been down for a month. I figure that's a pretty decent push towards writing a real blog post, and updating many of you on our lives. And crap, business is good! Thank goodness for regular customers and friends! Anyway, that's ...

Raising a Yarn Store: September 2012
http://knitandknotyarn.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Raising a Yarn Store. Monday, September 24, 2012. Putting Humpty Dumpty Back Together. Sometimes I do projects for other people. Okay, let's be real. Most of the time, I do projects for other people. This one in particular has been sitting on the hutch in my kitchen calling my name for over a month now. Why have I been putting it off? Any guesses as to why I would have put this off? Besides the "oh crap, if I mess this up I will have to lace crochet an entire blanket for a lady I don't know"? Location: 3...
