Mitts for Chuck | Knit and Run
https://knitandrun.wordpress.com/2011/08/19/mitts-for-chuck
August 19, 2011 — knitandrun. My latest knitting project was making 2 mismatched sets of fingerless gloves for my friend for her birthday next month. I posted the first 2 mitts my previous post. I was originally planning for those to be a pair, but the pinks did not match as I would have liked them to so I decided I would just knit 2 more to match the first (in yarn, not pattern). So here they are:. I used Boyfriend Mitts. I have recently been knitting Incognito. I am quite excited about the new yarn I o...

December 3, 2008 — knitandrun. I have really been gone a long time, haven’t I? Hopefully I haven’t been forgotten (though I think I probably have). I went MIA because I actually didn’t knit most of the summer. I finished Sawyer’s Pinwheel. Next, I tried starting on Eunny Jang’s Endpaper Mitts. But I just couldn’t seem to get the cast-on to work. Instead of using another cast-on, I decided to put them on hold. I decided to jump on another bandwagon and knit up a Chevron Scarf. I’ve also purchased. These 2...

Knitting Goals for 2009. February 4, 2009 — knitandrun. My goal this year is to continue knitting all year. I know to most that sounds like a ridiculous statement. For me it’s just the cycle of the year, I ususally start and end strong, but at some point in the middle, knitting output hits the skids. This year, I am hoping that my choice of projects will help me keep things moving along. I started my red version of the Barn Raising Quilt. In addition to the Red Barn Raising Quilt. Blog at WordPress.c...

Thursday, April 12, 2007. I love making me some baby sweaters. I love baby sweaters; they are quick, and they look cute, and hey - those wearing them generally don't complain that it's not in style, or you missed a stitch, or anything like that. I made this for he who shall be born next week. I used to work with his Mom - she's a cool one! This is a really nice pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts; in fact, it's so nice, I've knitted it twice. Labels: knitting is fun. Posted by Lisa at 3:24 PM. I was t...

Knit and Seek
Wherein a mildly obsessive knitter seeks to unravel five generations worth of family mysteries. Friday, September 6, 2013. FO Friday - BAM! I really did do some knitting this summer, and I actually managed to finish a few projects! I know, right? I don't quite believe it either. I even learned a thing or two along the way. Bonus! See, a while back I learned that I really like doing two-handed stranded colorwork. Then I learned that I really hate doing it on dpns. It's so fiddly! I found myself an 8"(!
