It can (maybe) become a cowl that someone can wear. Yarn: Whatever you can scrounge up. Or rush to the yarn store to buy some. Needles: 24" circular needles in a size suited to your yarn. You may want to go up a needle size or two if you tend to be a tight knitter. As if you're going to swatch at a time like this.
