Knitcore for Knitsters

I run around and do a lot of stuff. Sometimes I knit. I scoff at spare time! Thursday, December 15, 2005. I have no excuses for not writing for nearly three months nor do I feel I have to come up with any, its my website afterall and I can do what I want. Let's summarize my many movements in the interim:. Mid-October: Flew to Kansas City with Dan for a wedding. It was fun but I noticed my dress was a little tight, much tighter, in fact, than when I bought it 10 months earlier. Thanksgiving - celebrated w...

Knitcore for Knitsters: Knitting Update!

http://knitcoreforknitsters.blogspot.com/2005/08/knitting-update.html

I run around and do a lot of stuff. Sometimes I knit. I scoff at spare time! Wednesday, August 31, 2005. So I've been doing some knitting over the past week. Me in the Hat. I also completed (finally) the left front panel of my still-unfinished Ribby Cardi. Lastly, we are going to see Of Montreal. On Friday and I am so excited! As well as the Mates of State. While I am up at the Abbey Pub. So that makes me double, no triple excited! Oh man, I feel so twee, its great! Posted by Knitcore Nadia at 10:44 PM.

Knitcore for Knitsters: February 2005

http://knitcoreforknitsters.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html

I run around and do a lot of stuff. Sometimes I knit. I scoff at spare time! Sunday, February 27, 2005. There's nothing quite like a big, white, elephantine project to inspire all sorts of productivity in a knitter. Right now, my white elephant is the ribby cardi. I am going to restart it.tomorrow. Promise. This week the cardi really pushed me to get some other projects done. I finished the airy scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts:. Do you see what I see? Here is the cake with just the frosting:. Its a ...

I run around and do a lot of stuff. Sometimes I knit. I scoff at spare time! Monday, March 28, 2005. Spring has Sprung (Almost). I am really almost done with the back of my ribby cardi and it is just SO exciting but I can't show you a picture until I am all the way done. I'll lay the groundwork and then keep you hanging for just one more day (commence evil laughter). I have been obsessed with reading blogs from Paris recently. Spring is actually beginning to spring around here (maybe? Dan and I took a tr...

http://knitcoreforknitsters.blogspot.com/2005/08/yay-i-added-haloscan-comments.html

I run around and do a lot of stuff. Sometimes I knit. I scoff at spare time! Tuesday, August 23, 2005. Yay I added Haloscan Comments! Commenting and trackback have been added to this blog. So after ripping out a nice easy hat I jumped right back in and re-cast on and here I am. I am feeling into it so I am going to try to finish it tonight though I do need to go to the gym so we'll see how that goes. Posted by Knitcore Nadia at 7:42 PM. Isn't it weird that the same things kick our butts sometime!

Knitcore for Knitsters: January 2005

http://knitcoreforknitsters.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html

I run around and do a lot of stuff. Sometimes I knit. I scoff at spare time! Friday, January 28, 2005. I wrote this today about how much I love ketchup. Now there are many foods I could choose to wax poetic about so why should I choose ketchup? I understand that ketchup bothers many people and that such behavior as ketchup dumping* annoys many of you to no end but I just had to let you know how much I love the stuff and how good I think it can be. Like all foods, ketchup has its own time and place bu...

I went to the Vision Expo in NYC this weekend. We got up at 4am and got there for classes at 8:30am, I had classes all morning and afternoon but all Saturday I…tried on glasses. I did learn tons and I had lots of fun trying on glasses. Some of the more crazy ones where from a vintage display that one of the companies had put out. Skinny Brownies. Life Changing – for the baker with a sweet tooth that can’t really eat butter. And so, so, so tasty. I found the recipe here. 1 tsp baking powder. Place all of ...

A random blog by an aspiring author who delves into the fantasy that all things can be solved by the perfect cookie and a pair of handknit socks. Thursday, July 9, 2015. And let's talk shoes. I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot. Most days it's ok, but some days it really annoys me. I have certain shoes that are better for it than others. Yet I have shoes that I keep hanging on to even though I haven't worn them since moving to Ohio. (Did I mention that I moved to Ohio? Thursday, July 2, 2015. The w...

And the Owlie Socks that were last Socktober's Knit-a-long finished June 1:. Yes, I realize I am slowly knitting my way through the entire book. What can I say? Here is what Mermaid is supposed to look like:.

My personal projects, yarn reviews, and yarn shopping in the Midwest. Other random topics sprinkled throughout. Wednesday, January 11, 2017. I didn't get much time to knit this week, and I definitely didn't read. Where does this time go and why can't I be a kid again so I can kill my days reading? Alright, I'm done whining. Knit Country | A blog about crafting, cooking and community

A blog about crafting, cooking and community. January – not for resolutions. January 27, 2015. January 27, 2015. The post holiday season has been a quiet time around Knit Country. There is lots of activity, but it feels routine, stable, and not as rushed as October – December felt. This is something I am grateful for. This post does not have much to do with knitting or fibery things directly. It does start off the new year from a very honest place. I hope you will join me to see how 2015 turns out. I sti...
