It's a bit of a knit-blogging tradition I think, to assess what we achieved and plan for the upcoming year. For me, 2009 was the year of the shawl. Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Saturday, August 11, 2007. I'm really not sure about this one. I really like the colour though! Pattern: Ms. Marigold by ZephyrStyle,. Using just over 200gms of Jo Sharp Classic DK wool in 'Naples', knit on 4.5mm needles. Even though knit in a very similar colour to the models version on the pattern, unfortunately not quite the same effect on a size 14 figure! I honestly think it looks great :-) Especially with a shirt under like that. I love the colour too.

A couple of times in the past year I’ve thought about just shutting the damn thing down, but lucky I didn’t because I wouldn’t have somewhere to record this pattern for posterity. Gauge: 32 stitches per 10 cm. Yarn: 4 ply sock yarn. I used Hawthorne Cottage. Needle: 2.75mm needle. RS: sl 1, k 31 to end.

Hmmm good candidate for PassiveAggressiveNotes.com. He did clarify, after I asked, that my "complaining" relates to them not doing what I ask them to do, for example, cleaning up after themselves, tidying their room etc, so it's not really about me just complaining A LOT. Hope you like it. Size: approximately 6 - 9 months (size 00). 100g 8 ply (DK) yarn. Feel free to make this in a worsted weight yarn, it will just be a smidge larger. If you don't want it a smidge larger stop increasing a little earlier). Gauge: 22sts / 10cm. Pm – place marker. Kfb – knit front and back. Kfb, k4, kfb, pm.

Sunday, November 29, 2009. After having a fantastic time taking photos today with my little friends Bella and Hannah, I can now give you "Tayla Jade". A halter neck top for girls aged 1 to 12. This one was designed for my goddaughter Tayla and I wanted it to be light and cool (hence the lace) but also have good coverage in the back and top, after all she is my angel! I have to admit that the irony of a cow nappy bag aimed at the MCN market was not lost on me. I don't know about the rest of you, but there was many times breastfeeding that I fely just like a cow!
