Knit Glob: I love Noro!

http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2011/06/i-love-norohttp2bpblogspotcom.html

Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. I’m always surprised by how Noro. The knots, I am not so fond of, but found in my last project, which took 19 balls of Noro, probably only 4 balls that contained knots at all! A very low hit rate! So here is my latest and greatest Noro project; The Noro Paintbox Log Cabin. A brilliantly simple, yet effective way to maximise the best of Noro. It is gorgeous, and now youve got me thinking about how exactly you did join it all together. Beautif...

Knit Glob: January 2010

http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Saturday, January 02, 2010. I love early January, when we look back at what we accomplished in the past year. It's a bit of a knit-blogging tradition I think, to assess what we achieved and plan for the upcoming year. For me, 2009 was the year of the shawl. Knitting a triangular shawl was one of my goals for myself in 2009. I made far less socks than I have in the last 2 previous years, this year only finishing 7 pairs! Goals for 2010 include:.

Knit Glob: Ms. Marigold

http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2007/08/ms-marigold.html

Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Saturday, August 11, 2007. I'm really not sure about this one. I really like the colour though! Pattern: Ms. Marigold by ZephyrStyle,. Using just over 200gms of Jo Sharp Classic DK wool in 'Naples', knit on 4.5mm needles. Even though knit in a very similar colour to the models version on the pattern, unfortunately not quite the same effect on a size 14 figure! I honestly think it looks great :-) Especially with a shirt under like that. I love the colour too.

Knit Glob: The rest of the vests

http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2010/07/rest-of-vests.html

Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. The rest of the vests. As promised, here are the rest of the vests! The first is knit in Jo Sharp Classic 8 ply and the pattern is Ms. Marigold. Long time readers might remember that way back in 2007. I made this same vest in the same yarn. Jacki did also. I'm very happy with it, and it does work up so very quickly. Lovely vests. I knitted a fair isle vest once and after sewing in all the ends, I decided that I will not knit one again. Confe...

Knit Glob: Exactly one year!

http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2013/01/exactly-one-year.html

Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Well, well. what a coincidence that I decided that my poor blog needed some TLC today! It’s been exactly 1 year ago that I last posted! A couple of times in the past year I’ve thought about just shutting the damn thing down, but lucky I didn’t because I wouldn’t have somewhere to record this pattern for posterity. Gauge: 32 stitches per 10 cm. Yarn: 4 ply sock yarn. I used Hawthorne Cottage. Needle: 2.75mm needle. RS: sl 1, k 31 to end.

Confessions of a Serial Crafter: May 2011

http://craftconfessions.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Confessions of a Serial Crafter. Monday, May 9, 2011. I got some beautiful hand-made Mother's Day cards from my boys this year. Inside the one from L were these lovely sentiments. Hmmm good candidate for PassiveAggressiveNotes.com. He did clarify, after I asked, that my "complaining" relates to them not doing what I ask them to do, for example, cleaning up after themselves, tidying their room etc, so it's not really about me just complaining A LOT. Still. This card is definitely a keeper.

The Complete Fabrication: Why yes, there has been things going on. Why do you ask?

http://thecompletefabrication.blogspot.com/2012/03/why-yes-there-has-been-things-going-on.html

Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Why yes, there has been things going on. Why do you ask? Yep, there have been many things going on. You know, this and that and a little of the other, followed quickly by stuff and ending with things. Life, it has a nasty way of getting in the way of other stuff. Just as well it is punctuated by good fun, good friends and good times. Other than those I have so many things unfinished. There is this. I have started this too. Someone claims it earlier. So just incase I didn't have...

Confessions of a Serial Crafter: Phases

http://craftconfessions.blogspot.com/2011/06/phases.html

Confessions of a Serial Crafter. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Do you go through different phases with your knitting? Or whatever craft(s) you like to do? After a few years of knitting it's becoming apparent to me that I do. For a while it was socks. I couldn't get enough of knitting socks. I even started this year out (again! With my stash-sock-club, and I did well with that until my new phase started to take over. Head, Heart and Hands. Scarves and cowls it was! Posted by Lou's Mum. Mum to 3, working part-...

Confessions of a Serial Crafter: A couple of softies

http://craftconfessions.blogspot.com/2010/01/couple-of-softies.html

Confessions of a Serial Crafter. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. A couple of softies. More Christmas gifts made by me, but this time on the sewing machine. This was my first time making softies like this, and it was kind of fun. Up to the point where I had to sew up the hole left for stuffing! I'm a little disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm over them from the kids, after all my efforts! But really I should have expected that. Both of these fabrics are by. Posted by Lou's Mum. http://thecompletefabrication.blogspot.com/2007/11/seamless-baby-kimono.html

Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Another pattern for people to try! This is a completely seamless baby kimono. This particular version is an 8ply but I have plans to write it for heavier yarns. Hope you like it. Size: approximately 6 - 9 months (size 00). 100g 8 ply (DK) yarn. Feel free to make this in a worsted weight yarn, it will just be a smidge larger. The Complete Fabrication: Powering through!

http://thecompletefabrication.blogspot.com/2007/10/powering-through.html

Tuesday, October 2, 2007. I marked another order of the to do list today! And I liked it so much that I decided to offer some in the store. Just a few little personalised bibs for a friend of a friend. Once I had finished them I thought what a cute, cheap little gift for a new baby - especially one with a slightly unusual name. I hope Lanae's mother likes them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Knitting Patterns for Purchase. Cables a la Carte. Tayla Jade Halter Top. Multi-sized Seamless Kimono Sweater.

The Complete Fabrication: Introducing Tayla Jade!

http://thecompletefabrication.blogspot.com/2009/11/introducing-tayla-jade.html

Sunday, November 29, 2009. After having a fantastic time taking photos today with my little friends Bella and Hannah, I can now give you "Tayla Jade". A halter neck top for girls aged 1 to 12. This one was designed for my goddaughter Tayla and I wanted it to be light and cool (hence the lace) but also have good coverage in the back and top, after all she is my angel! The pattern for Tayla Jade is available from Ravelry. Just click the button below! Felix coming this week, I promise! Cables a la Carte.

Free Patterns - Spare Ribs Shoaker. Posted by Bec at 9:19 PM. Rainy Days by Yuliya Sullivan. 325mm - two socks, one long circ. 24 December 08 Cast off:. My Rainy Days Sock Ravelry Project Link. Mum literally wore the first Rainy Days I knit her to death. She loved them so I thought I would whip her another pair up for her birthday on 28/12. So unlike me (not! I was sewing in the ends on the morning of her birthday ;). Nothing quite like a last minute finish! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Complete Fabrication: Don't have a cow Mum!

http://thecompletefabrication.blogspot.com/2007/09/dont-have-cow-mum.html

Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Don't have a cow Mum! I love the school holidays! I got this made yesterday - my first nappy bag for sale on the open market! I have to admit that the irony of a cow nappy bag aimed at the MCN market was not lost on me. I don't know about the rest of you, but there was many times breastfeeding that I fely just like a cow! Especially given that my Medela mini-electric used to moo. September 26, 2007 at 11:29 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Knitting Patterns for Purchase.
