Married To Craft / THUSS FARRELL. Rebecca Thuss and Patrick Farrell. Married to Craft is the blog of husband and wife Patrick Farrell and Rebecca Thuss. Our book, Paper to Petal: 75 Whimsical Paper Flowers to Craft by Hand. Foreword by Martha Stewart. Barnes & Noble. I had to modify my plan. In the case of RT’s flower that meant using a piece of vintage double-sided crepe of unknown origin that she had been saving for a special occasion, oops! The custom print required an emergency trip (via motorcycle!

Knit MORe ANd . . .
Knit MORe ANd . . . Thursday, June 10, 2010. My daughter participated in “The Glass Slipper”. A ballet based on the story of Cinderella. During one part of the play she and a fellow dancer performed a “magical” dance, which turned straw into gold. Together my daughter and I helped out by creating the costume. We started by making a paper Mache covered balloon. This we attached to a bicycle helmet. I carved a nose from Styrofoam. We attached the fabric and eyes using hot glue. Thursday, January 28, 2010.

KnitMoron
My pathetic life (which might sometimes include knitting). Seems like that's a better description, no? Sunday, January 6, 2013. I have no burning resolution to blog more this year. I don't aim to tell people how much better I will be this year. I don;t think last year sucked particularly hard, but I always hope the new one will be better. I'm just tired of reading people's self-righteous rituals for the new year. Clear as day, isn't it? Check that off my list of things to accomplish in 2013. Now, I have ...

Knit Motion
Prabal Gurung Fall 2013. Posted in Knits in Fashion. Check out these two knit beauties from the Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 RTW show! I must admit, though, that I cannot imagine in what kind of weather a bulky sweater with cut-outs at the hips would be appropriate 🙂. All images from Style.com. I am happy to announce the release of Luster Shawl! Working with Madeline Tosh tosh chunky. Besides being soft and cushy, the yarn is also tightly spun, which makes it perfect for a lace project. More fun with colors.

Joanne's Musings
Monday, February 27, 2012. I'm Here. No Really! As is obvious, I have taken a hiatus from knitting and blogging. I have ventured onto another obsession such jeweling making and a new one, learning to play a guitar. You may see some different formatting the next time you visit. Please, bear with me. Knit My Library
Tuesday, October 16, 2012. I did an adorable test knit vest. I think I want to make one in reverse color scheme so both twins can have one. Sunday, October 7, 2012. This is a close up video straight on of the hub so that the wobble can be seen. Here is the video of me actually spinning on the wheel. My husband seemed to think that having me in the video a lot was good. I hope there are enough close ups of the wheel itself to demonstrate that she functions very well indeed despite her wobble. In our next ...
