Eco-Dyeing and Natural Dyes. Last weekend was very eventful! I spent my days at The Naked Sheep. With Ash Alberg of Sunflower Knit. I also dyed a silk tarot cloth using the logwood dye. I am really happy with how it came out with bright colours scattered around. Here it is in action with my Spirit Cats Deck. On Sunday I took an amazing Shawl Design workshop also taught by Ash. My little patch of ether. A GNU/Linux version of Windows “alt codes”. July 25, 2011. Windows “Alt Codes” for Linux works like this. Hold down Control and then Shift and press the “u” key. You should get an odd looking character that is waiting for input. Type the numeric code and press space. You can use more than just ASCII but can use hex values too!
