My newest creation off the loom and it looks wonderful. This go round has taught me yet another lesson or three…. 1 It’s much easier to fringe while the shawl is on the l. 2 Even though you CAN put the fringe on the loops, it stabilizes the work to put them at the crosses. Note to self, research stabilization techniques. December 29, 2007.

Knit One Stitch Too

Knit One Stitch Too. The somewhat disjointed ramblings of a fickle crafter who can't decide which craft to concentrate on.and therefore doesn't finish much. Saturday, March 21, 2015. Well, it's been quite a while. This blogging thing is tough to keep up with, but for posterity's sake I figured I should document what I've been up to. So without further ado, here goes. Dance in the Rain (c) Lizzie*Kate. 30 ct natural linen. Started 9/19/14, finished 9/26/14. For my friend Christine, who is such a dog person.

Knit One, Swear One

Knit One, Swear One. It isn't going to make itself. To craft or not to craft? That is the question. Whether tis nobler to suffer in the mind the split threads and bad glues of outrageous fortune, Or to take needles against a sea of yarn, and by opposing, create something out of them. I'm a crafter. Krunkað á Klakanum - Knit on Ice

Krunkað á Klakanum - Knit on Ice.
