Tatting my Doilies: Blobfish Facing Extinction
http://tattingmydoilies.blogspot.com/2010/02/blobfish-facing-extinction.html
Friday, February 5, 2010. Caution: This post contains pictures of blobfish. Lots and lots of blobfish. Last week, Google Analytics told me my post. About the knitted blobfish I made for my friend Tamara was getting lots of hits. First I thought I'd been linked to by somebody famous, but no - everybody was coming in from search engines. So I googled it up myself and found out the blobfish may be going extinct. Blobfish: World's most "miserable looking" marine animal facing extinction. Bear up [blobfish] n...
Tatting my Doilies: February 2010
http://tattingmydoilies.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 18, 2010. If You Come to a Fork in the Road, Take it. Where there was one there will be two. Through the crafting blogosphere (doesn't that word already sound so dated? I started to find an audience, and my knitting really took off. Dared me to start writing down my patterns, and I did. I started submitting my designs to. I got inspired by pre-Ravelry etsy sellers like. To start selling my patterns as pdfs instead of giving them away, and started obsessively reading. Uh, not so much.

Tatting my Doilies: I Have Been Circling for Thousands of Years
http://tattingmydoilies.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-have-been-circling-for-thousands-of.html
Saturday, January 23, 2010. I Have Been Circling for Thousands of Years. I live my life in widening circles. That reach out across the world. I may not complete this last one. But I give myself to it. I circle around God,. Around the primordial tower. I’ve been circling for thousands of years. And I still don’t know:. Am I a falcon, a storm, or a great song? Rilke – 1909. This is the piece I did for the YarnTheory. Posted by Daniel Yuhas. I love that particular poem! January 23, 2010 at 5:50 PM.

Tatting my Doilies: Blobfish, Blobfish Everywhere, and Not a Drop to Drink!
http://tattingmydoilies.blogspot.com/2008/08/blobfish-blobfish-everywhere-and-not.html
Thursday, August 14, 2008. Blobfish, Blobfish Everywhere, and Not a Drop to Drink! Send your own blobfish e-card at oceana.org. Here's the blobfish I made for her - I wanted it to be totally understuffed, so it's filled it with ping pong balls instead of fluff. And it's all in reverse stockinette stitch, 'cause sometimes the ugly side of knitting gives me the heebie jeebies. It'll also make a decent, though kinda fragile, bath toy, since the ping pong balls will make it float! Posted by Daniel Yuhas.
Tatting my Doilies: Bedford Springs Knit-Treat, and p.s. I'm in Interweave
http://tattingmydoilies.blogspot.com/2009/11/bedford-springs-knit-treat-and-ps-im-in.html
Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Bedford Springs Knit-Treat, and p.s. I'm in Interweave. I just got back from the first annual Bedford Springs Knit-Treat in Pennsylvania, where I taught the Christmas Tree. Class It was a wonderful group of students and some spectacular teachers in a gorgeous, luxurious, historical setting. And the food was divine - it was almost more of a "knit-eat" than a "knit-treat.". Here's me in Kathy Zimmerman. And Candace Eisner Strick. Posted by Daniel Yuhas. View my complete profile.

KNITSxgrits | making for the in between
Making for the in between. 13 days of making day two. I am having too much fun with this. A couple weeks ago, I snagged some craft foam from a friend of mine.
