The adventures of a little knitted man. Summer Holiday in Sussex. August 16, 2016. August 16, 2016. We went on a little holiday to stay with Zoë’s family in Sussex. We did lots of things! We went shopping in Lewes on a grey and overcast day. Had a picnic on Firle Beacon and enjoyed the views, it was sunny, but really windy. Always need to visit Brighton! We did some shopping and went to the beach. Took a trip to see the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle statue in Crowborough. I enjoyed a massive piece of cake!

The adventures of a little knitted man. May 29, 2016. June 1, 2016. Pauly and Zoë have taken me on holiday to Scotland. We went as far as the Ibis Styles Haydock on Tuesday. We arrived quite late so we had a quick sherry and went to bed. We had some breakfast and set off for Glasgow. We had a stop for coffee at Tebay Service and watched some birds. The adventures of a little knitted man. July 17, 2015. July 17, 2015. We have been enjoying our walks so decided to walk to Grasmere rather than taking the car. I am glad we did as the views were amazing! Our first stop in Grasmere was the gingerbread shop. We had a little walk around Grasmere and ate our packed lunch. The adventures of a little knitted man. Steam Train to Haverthwaite. July 14, 2015. July 14, 2015. After our visit to the Motor Museum we went on the nearby Lakeside to Haverthwaite steam railway. It was awesome! We had a ride on the train and then waited at the station to see it go back again. Steam trains are great! The adventures of a little knitted man. July 18, 2015. July 18, 2015. On the last day of our holiday we went to Keswick so we could visit the Pencil Museum. We had lunch in a nice cafe in town, Zoë and I had halloumi. Our next stop was Rheged to do a little bit more shopping. We went on to Aira Force next and had a nice walk around the waterfall.
