Friday, July 27, 2007. MS3 row 225 and Turner Falls. I got up through row 225 on the MS 3 last night! Still seem to be tinking as much as knitting, but for some reason am still really enjoying this project! Only "bad" thing about it is that I am now wanting to do more lace.lol! That has been one area of knitting that, before now, I have had little interest in.therefore.there is NO yarn in my stash that is conducive to lace knitting! Wellbad news for my self imposed yarn diet this year! Not much else to r...

Thursday, June 29, 2006. Somehow, it always comes back to me. I haven’t mentioned this before, but one of the major things occurring in this house right now is that my husband is going to climb Mt. McKinley (or Denali, as it is rightly called in Alaska) next year. You know, the highest mountain in ALL OF NORTH AMERICA. He’s been climbing mountains for years, and has even done a couple glaciated mountains, but Denali. He needed, maybe, something LIKE THIS:. Yep, we copycatted Nanda. Monday, June 26, 2006.

Tuesday, June 26, 2007. Daxton's 1st Birthday and Maiden Voyage. I just can't believe Dax is one year old already! Seems like just a couple of weeks ago we were holding him at the hospital! His party was Saturday afternoon with mostly family there. He had such a good time.and so did everyone else :-). He is amazing.just give him the "theme" of the party or tell him the basics of what you want and he takes it from there! We really did enjoy it! It was ok for our purposes.to figure out how everything w...

Monday, April 30, 2007. Yeait's hopefully really spring now.it had better be anyway since I planted a bunch of flowers this weekend.lol! I just love this time of year and getting the bedding plant. We tried seeding that area last year but couldn't get anything going there. I really hate having that big old patch of dirt right out front! It is right under a big tree too so that makes it a challenge as well. It was recommended that we put zoysia down since it is a shade loving grass. Hopefully it will ...

Gradually increase it about a minute or two per day and maybe she will finally get used to it.
