Knit the Stash: In Between
http://knitthestash.blogspot.com/2010/02/in-between.html
Monday, February 22, 2010. Now that I've begun blogging for Patons. You'll find me over there as "YoElizBo") I have found my knitting divided: my projects and their projects. Since I have to share what I do for them over there, I thought I would fill in with a little bit about what I've been doing on the side. Socks . . . I took a mini-class at Madrona Fiber Arts with Charlene Schurch (YES! 2) Use heel stitch all the way down the back and under your heel. Duh! I also took the current pair I am knitting a...
Knit the Stash: November 2008
http://knitthestash.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 23, 2008. But is it Enough? That's always the dilemma I face as I prepare to go away. How do I know if I have enough knitting with me, because horrors of all horrors, what if I run out? Now me running out of knitting is about as likely to happen as it is the kids will remain in good spirits the entire car ride and not ask once "are we there yet? There is always room for my knitting,. I've also got the Clapotis. For my mom, more mittens for Matthew (who is gradually learning to wear them)...
Knit the Stash: January 2009
http://knitthestash.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Lately our schedule has given us some free Sunday afternoons. Around here a free afternoon is like gold, so I've been using my time to tackle some things that require some time, patience and, well, time. Like patching up my Duckie socks, and this past weekend, I tackled homework. I'm taking Cat Bordhi. So with a latte in front of me (an essential learning tool), her book spread wide open, I started the Little Sky Sock. In the meantime, my Toe-up Socks. That I started in Novem...
Knit the Stash: September 2009
http://knitthestash.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 08, 2009. I have had Jill Eaton's Bow Wow Sweater pattern in my pattern collection for years. I've had yarn to knit the pattern for nearly as long. But as the years passed, I never got around to knitting it. As a mom with two sons, there is really no excuse for not having knit this quintessential boy sweater. So when my cousin's son's wife had a baby boy (is that a long strung out line of relations or what? Isn't that just adorable? Tuesday, September 01, 2009. I saw my aunts recently ...
Knit the Stash: March 2010
http://knitthestash.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 21, 2010. I was working on a project that went wrong in so many directions it isn't even funny. So when I threw it down in frustration and refused to look at it for a week of moping, it was time for some comfort knitting. When all else fails, there is something so comforting about knitting a plain pair of toe up socks with a self-striping yarn. And boy, did I need these! Wednesday, March 03, 2010. The project is a Vestish. Which I am knitting in KnitPicks City Tweed DK. Just check this out:.

The Complete Jane Austen KAL: March 2008
http://janeaustenkal.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
The Complete Jane Austen KAL. Because Jane would have knit if she knew better. Monday, March 31, 2008. Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Emma watching but little knitting done. Saturday, March 22, 2008. First pic: Socks for my dad. My first toe-up socks, and my first men's socks. Pretty good. I used Lion Wool and a mixture of techniques that I've looked at over the years. I just used a simple rib in order to keep me from getting too confused. Here they are closer:. Looking forward to Emma,. Tuesday, March 11, 2008.
144 Inches of I-Cord: Memo

Monday, January 12, 2009. In response to PETA's latest publicity stunt (calling fish "sea-kittens" in the hopes it will make people stop eating them), Grady and Fee request that you now refer to them as The Land Fish. Posted by Jen at 3:44 PM. I heard about that. Wasn't it in reference to Spearfish, South Dakota? My understanding was they were urging the high school to change their mascot from Spearfish to The Sea Kittens. If The Land Fish is too wordy maybe, "Fishcat"? Or now is it a nice cream sauce?
The Complete Jane Austen KAL: Sense and Sensibility

The Complete Jane Austen KAL. Because Jane would have knit if she knew better. Tuesday, April 8, 2008. I did really enjoy this version of the book-maybe even more than the movie version. I am still working on fingerless gloves-onto my 10th pair now- but I did at least work on edging the squares for my sister's afghan a little bit. here is my Ravelry secret spring swapper wearing the gloves I made him. Very "Dickensy" I must say. I could see Bob Cratchit wearing them. September 25, 2008 at 10:10 PM.

The Complete Jane Austen KAL. Because Jane would have knit if she knew better. Monday, March 31, 2008. I agree that this is pretty well done but I've always had a tough time with the character of Marianne- too smug in her righteousness. I also agree with your synopsis of P&P! Knit the Stash
Thursday, January 13, 2011. I've been neglecting this page for far too long, though I do have a good reason. I was blogging at Paton's for the past year, so it isn't like I haven't been chatting about yarn, just not around here. But that is all about to change, as I finish up my commitment there and move back over here to discuss and post about my latest knitting projects. Really blogs are nothing more than a grown up version of Show and Tell. Or as my father used to say, Bring and Brag. So I got a nice ...
