curlerchik knits: Finally done! (but well worth it)
http://curlerchik.blogspot.com/2012/11/finally-done-but-well-worth-it.html
Mostly knitting. Some other stuff. Tuesday, November 13, 2012. But well worth it). I finished the duplicate stitching, and to be honest, it wasn't that bad. I spent years doing extensive cross stitch, so this wasn't a whole lot different. And it looks so much better than intarsia would have. Plus, the hat is merino and cashmere! What's not to love? Sandra, that is truly a work of art - very nicely done! So what merino/cashmere yarn have you blessed this boys head with? That really is fabulous! How great ...

curlerchik knits: Second bag giveaway
http://curlerchik.blogspot.com/2012/11/second-bag-giveaway.html
Mostly knitting. Some other stuff. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. The first giveaway seemed pretty popular, so I have another set of bags to give away. You've seen this fabric before - knitting sheep! I made myself pajamas from it, and these two bags from the leftovers. Same construction as the other bags, but these two are a little smaller. Still good for a small project, and oh so cute! Trimmed with a red ribbon drawstring to pull the red out of the print. My goodness, look at all that sheepy love! I love...

curlerchik knits: what's keeping me busy these days
http://curlerchik.blogspot.com/2012/11/whats-keeping-me-busy-these-days.html
Mostly knitting. Some other stuff. Monday, November 19, 2012. What's keeping me busy these days. With Christmas approaching, and it being our year to host the entire family (14 to 20 people, maybe more), I'm starting to think about decorations. Just think, mind you, my house is still quite decoration free, and will remain so until December. But that doesn't mean I haven't started gathering ideas and stuff. To be honest, I started this right after last Christmas! Drives my MIL crazy.). I love the fact tha...

curlerchik knits: I got a new toy!
http://curlerchik.blogspot.com/2012/11/i-got-new-toy.html
Mostly knitting. Some other stuff. Wednesday, November 07, 2012. I got a new toy! It's a Canon Rebel EOS T3i. Just enough camera for what we want, and room to grow it. I'm going to dig through my old equipment - some of the accessories will be compatible - but most of my actual cameras were Olympus or Nikons, so the equipment itself won't be useful. (Really must think about putting that stuff up for sale! That's what I have to keep telling myself, anyway. Ours is a Canon also. Nice camera. I live just no...

curlerchik knits: it's the start of my birthday month!
http://curlerchik.blogspot.com/2012/11/its-start-of-my-birthday-month.html
Mostly knitting. Some other stuff. Thursday, November 01, 2012. It's the start of my birthday month! Normally, I don't care much about my birthday - it's just another day as far as I'm concerned. I don't go for a lot of pomp and ceremony, and really kind of hate being the centre of attention. But since I turn 50 this month, I've been told by friends to get over myself and just enjoy. So, fine. I will. Maybe a custom pair of pajama pants? I'm thinking of that one for my actual birthday day.). I live just ...

curlerchik knits: Second giveaway winner!
http://curlerchik.blogspot.com/2012/11/second-giveaway-winner.html
Mostly knitting. Some other stuff. Thursday, November 22, 2012. Off topic for a bit - I have a problem. According to Blogger, I can no longer post pictures, because I'm out of space. I could buy more space, but I'm not going to do that. I do have pictures on tomorrow's post, because it's already saved. I'm trying to figure out if I go back and delete pictures from ancient posts, will I gain more room. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to pay for the blog, but I don't really want to stop blogging either.
