MorganAside: September 2010
http://morganaside.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 29, 2010. I usually knit both socks at the same time (in a couple of days usually),. But when I have lots of cool yarn I tend to knit one to see what it looks like knitted up. So lately, I've been busy trying to finish all of my started projects (both sewn and knitted). Here's some of the knitted things I've finished recently. Started: Oct. 2008. Finished: Sept. 8, 2010. I ended up using two skeins. One wasn’t. Enough, especially since I wanted them. To match as closely as possible.

MorganAside: New Year - No New Projects
http://morganaside.blogspot.com/2015/01/new-year-no-new-projects.html
Thursday, January 15, 2015. New Year - No New Projects. I don't do New Year's resolutions. I do try and make one goal a year. This year's goal: clear my 19 knitting/crocheting WIPs (work in progress) and my 65 Civil War clothing UFOs (unfinished objects/projects). Originally, I was going to aim for March 1. I'm still going to aim for getting as many done as possible by then. How does someone end up with so many unfinished projects? That takes me down to 60 UFOs and 14 knitting/crocheting projects. My cur...

It's 100% wool, cape lining and facings are 100% cotton twill, trim is 100% cotton corduroy and velvet. Other than that, not much is going on today. Have a great evening! Saturday, November 10, 2012. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. I finished The Shattered Vine by Laura Anne Gilman very early on Sunday morning. I loved it, I couldn't put it down. I wish it wasn't the end of the series. Not sure what to read next, maybe War Horse by Michael Morpurgo. We are looking forward to the movie. I've been busy translating some German knitting and crocheting patterns to English (Thanks for the help, Kay). Today, I'm going to post a "shooters" mitten pattern on my " KnittingAside. MorganAside: November 2010
http://morganaside.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 16, 2010. October as with any other month was kind of busy. As always I was busy sewing and knitting. I can't even remember what I finished sewing but thanks to Ravelry I do know what I finished knitting. Green Sweater for myself (Brown Sheep Co, Inc. Lambs Pride Superwash in Cactus Pattern #994 from Knittin Pure and Simple) I made it longer in the sleeves and the body which turned out to be almost too long. This year I did not make my daughter's Halloween costume (not enough time)....
