Knitting On The Road: July 2008
http://knittingguy.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Knitting On The Road. Just a knitting blog by a long haul trucker. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. FInished The First Sleeve. Ok, I finally found the time (thanks to the truck breaking down) to finish the first sleeve on the sweater. As I hadn't done the decreases quite as often as I should have the sleeve isn't as tapered as I wanted and had to improvise a bit for the ribbed cuff, but I don't think it came out too badly. Knitting On The Road. Just a knitting blog by a long haul trucker. Saturday, May 24, 2008. I was watching a crafts program and the woman was saying that a big hindrance for a lot of people is that they get so hung up on trying to make things perfectly that they wind up either not enjoying it or simply never finish at all. She said that perfection is highly overrated. It's a hobby and one should enjoy it, not stress over making it perfect. I have to agree with her completely. Links to this post. Monday, M...
Knitting On The Road: The Sweater Progresses
http://knittingguy.blogspot.com/2008/11/sweater-progresses.html
Knitting On The Road. Just a knitting blog by a long haul trucker. Monday, November 24, 2008. Now that I am back on the road my knitting progress has slowed. As my truck broke down and I have been sitting around a motel waiting for it to be repaired I've had some knitting time and have made a little progress on the sweater. Oh, WOW, that's nice! GREAT JOB, Mason! November 24, 2008 at 9:27 AM. Lookin' go so far! I love the colors, so very 70s in a great way. November 24, 2008 at 12:45 PM.

Knitting On The Road. Just a knitting blog by a long haul trucker. Friday, February 29, 2008. Cabled Tie - Final Design. After much improv and frogging I think I've finally come up with a pattern that I like for this. Links to this post. Thursday, February 28, 2008. I thought the first go at the cabled tie looked a bit boring so I decided to frog it and try something different. I'm kinda liking it. Links to this post. Links to this post. A Little Bit Of Everything | Lost in Bonkers

שומר דלתות ישראל (NSFW) →. August 25, 2011 · 4:24 pm. A Little Bit Of Everything. The first show of last night was Yael Deckelbaum, with Shaul Eshet on piano and keyboards, Gil Lewis on electric guitar, Adam Ben Ezra on double bass and bass guitar, and Barak Kram on drums. Another show that at face value could perhaps end up not being all that jazzy, though from what I know of her material, she’s kind of a little bit of everything. No problem. Any story can be sung. And who needs words anyway....The s...

Monthly Archives: January 2011. January 24, 2011 · 10:06 pm. I take it back. It does not suck to be Reid Anderson. I’ll admit I got all fangirly today and started listening to all sorts of stuff. And yeah, as I suspected, the man is awesome. Really awesome. I’ve been putting this song. All over the internet today, but just in case, I’m putting it here, too. Because at the very moment he joins Wendy Lewis in vocal harmony, I started crying. For real. But just a bit more into the awesomeness of the guy.

I Believe It Is Called Harmony. A Little Bit Of Everything →. August 24, 2011 · 12:48 am. The first show of the night is Gretchen Parlato, with Justin Brown, drums, Alan Hampton, bass, and Gerald Clayton. Tal and I were first acquainted with Parlato on Monday morning, when she kindly held the door open for us at the hotel. I love that we’re staying at the same hotel as all the musicians. We get the full groupie experience without the STD’s. For the next show, we had a dilemma, because neither of them was...
Siren Song | Lost in Bonkers

I Believe It Is Called Harmony →. August 22, 2011 · 3:45 pm. Yesterday morning Tal and I woke up in Beer Sheva, to the sound of a blaring siren, and marched ourselves downstairs to the safety room, aka the bomb shelter, in our house. It took two more such sirens for us to finish packing and get on the road to the 25th Red Sea Jazz Festival in Eilat. So, let’s get on to the music. I doubt I will be going into as much detail as I did last year, because, well, my health is not much to write home a...The thr...

March 13, 2012 · 5:19 pm. You know that joke about the JAP whose favorite whine is “BUT DADDYYYYYY, I WANT THIS ONE! That’s not what this post is about. Nor is it really a favorite whine of mine. All it takes is for it to happen once, and then for weeks later my ear will be constantly tuned to that frequency, seeking it, waiting for it, knowing it’s going to come any moment now, so we have to be ready for it ALL THE TIME. I don’t react like that to sirens when I’m alone. Having kids makes...The truly ann...

Friday, October 29, 2010. I am trying to work a candy cane stocking pattern. The instructions read; k3tog leaving sts on needle, yo, k3tog in same sts again, sl sts off needle". So I knit my 3 sts together and then leave on left needle? Where do I yo and then where do the next 3tog come from? And is the sl sts the same 3 tog? Any help would be much appreciated! knittinggwen – Welkom bij een brei- en stoffenverslaafde
