Can't You See I'm Knitting Here? Just leave me the hell alone and let me knit in peace. Monday, February 26, 2007. Yes, it has finally snowed here in Minneapolis. We had about a foot in our neighborhood over the weekend. But the plows and the salt trucks have been out. The driveway is shoveled. 12" of snow qualifies as no big deal around here especially when it happens on the weekend. A snow storm is a perfect reason to stay inside and knit. So I made this:. After 9:30 (my son had bailed by this time) I ...

Can't You See I'm Knitting Here?!: October 2007
http://knittinghere.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Can't You See I'm Knitting Here? Just leave me the hell alone and let me knit in peace. Friday, October 26, 2007. I Meet Crazy Aunt Purl. I've never attended a book signing before and after my sister's disaster with a local romance writer (ask her about it sometime) I was not interested in attending one ever. And it seems a little like legal stalking, but I had to make an exception. Do not go straight from a work event that involved adult beverages and no food. Do not piss off the 22-year-old from the bo...

A blog about knitting and sometimes my life…. Asymp; Leave a comment. What’s a girl to do when it’s Superbowl Sunday and the only reason to watch is the commercials? This just isn’t my sport to watch-no offence) Why, go on a yarn crawl with her SNB friends! We had a lot of fun and bought yarn. It was my first trip to The Black Sheep Yarn Shop in Needham, MA. It also helped that there was a discount on all yarns and other fiber related goodies! The colors are even richer when seen by the eye. Malabrigo-sa...

Knitting Hil | Knitting, sewing & life
Knitting, sewing and life. Happiness: pleated Ikea skirt. Sooo I have this huge backlog of sewing projects. Why? Partly because with 3 kids, my sewingtime is precious.
