Knitting Libran: April 2011
http://knittinglibran.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
The knitting, spinning, cooking, and running ramblings of a Libran. Whatever shall I do first? Sunday, April 24, 2011. The end of my second day without working is coming to a close and I'm so sad. It's amazing how much stuff you can get done without work getting in the way. In short, it was a blissfully productive weekend:. I started breathing again. And my jaws started to unclench. I cleaned the house.all of it. The dust buffalo herd is now manageable. I even folded it and put it away. I'm now in experi...
Knitting Libran: June 2011
http://knittinglibran.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The knitting, spinning, cooking, and running ramblings of a Libran. Whatever shall I do first? Wednesday, June 01, 2011. Maryland Sheep and Wool was fun as always. I didn't buy much.sock yarn for Tom and buttons for the sweater. It was crowded and as soon as my friend left, I went in search of sheep and I found them. At first I thought there weren't as many in previous years but then I found the big barn. And. Next year I'm going to spend more time with the sheep. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
Knitting Libran: May 2011

The knitting, spinning, cooking, and running ramblings of a Libran. Whatever shall I do first? Friday, May 06, 2011. As of 7:30 pm on May 3, I officially started my long-awaited vacation and I won't go back to work until So far, it's been wonderful, although not necessarily restful. At one point in class yesterday, I felt like I was fighting with my wheel.the spinning became difficult. Maggie replaced the existing drive band with a lighter one and that made a huge difference. Who knew? Tomorrow I'm meeti...

The knitting, spinning, cooking, and running ramblings of a Libran. Whatever shall I do first? Saturday, June 23, 2012. For the last several months, I've been living under a rock.so overwhelmed with work that I simply ignored a lot of things, including current events. So imagine my surprise and dismay when Elizabeth at Squam Art Workshops. Posted that California will be closing 70 of their 279 state parks. This video, The First 70. I asked Rachel Herron of Yarnagogo. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Knitting Libran: March 2011
http://knittinglibran.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
The knitting, spinning, cooking, and running ramblings of a Libran. Whatever shall I do first? Sunday, March 27, 2011. I've been much quieter than I planned. My goal was to post a blog entry at least once a week this year. Clearly, I've not succeeded. I blame work and nothing but work (and my inability to do anything other than stare into space after I get home from work). Surprisingly good. What's best is that there are tons of free. I wonder if I'll be able to finish that single brown sock?

Bulldog Knits: July 2005
http://bulldogknits.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 31, 2005. Ribbon Sweater Takes Shape! The gals at the shop said they swear by Button Emporium. Which I've never been to, so there's something else to look forward to! As ready as I am for this to be done I really am enjoying the process. Posted by msubulldog @ 6:15 PM. Saturday, July 30, 2005. I ran across a woman named Teri who posted this question on her blog. And I had to answer. Where's the most extreme place you've knitted? In our airplane, of course! Posted by msubulldog @ 8:51 AM.

Monday, 11 July 2011. I'm moving, so come on over to. Links to this post. Friday, 10 June 2011. Well now. The sun may be shining, but there are clouds overhead, and poor old Drew has gone back to the drawing (drew-ing? Food for thought. If you are interested at all in issues around food shopping and supermarkets and growing your own (which of course most people are) then it's worth having a look and/or listening to Carolyn speak. Knitting Lessons
Everything you need to know in life you can learn from knitting. Tuesday, November 19, 2013. It's that time of year, in more ways than one. It is chilly most of the time and DARK very early in the afternoon, and almost non-stop football/hockey. Oh, and pre-Christmas. So that means it is TIME FOR KNITTING! Above is 20% of Stephen West's Spectra pattern. It is UNFORGIVING! This is the beginning of a mystery project. I am so glad that I mustered the courage to try a two-color cast on. Links to this post.

The knitting, spinning, cooking, and running ramblings of a Libran. Whatever shall I do first? Saturday, December 01, 2012. I Have Three Mothers. The mother-daughter relationship can be very difficult sometimes and I'm sure there are some women who think that one mother (or daughter) is more than enough. I'm so blessed to have not one, but three. Mothers in my life. Mom and Dad at their 50th wedding anniversary. Mom Simonds on the occasion of her birthday this year. And my third mother? My husband, Tom, ...

Knitting Like Crazy
VIDEO: Craft With Me. Sure, I'm a knitter and crocheter, but I don't consider myself much of a crafter. Today, I'm sharing my attempt to use felt and glue on my Katrinkles. It turned out so cute! If you are reading this post via email. You can check out the video here. Yesterday I added the sixth and final pattern to the Nifty Gifty 2 eBook. Eudicots is a sideways-knit asymmetrical shawl. So, if you enjoyed knitting some of my other patterns that use this construction (like Hogmanay. But here's the thing...

Knitting Like Crazy
And now some not so lovely pictures. . . . May 4, 2007 by knittinglikecrazy. Well, thanks for all the wonderful comments on the shawl! I may have it make an appearance out and about this weekend, maybe. And, now I present the random little shrug I decided I wanted to knit (I am sorry for the bad pictures, but I was alone in the apartment and the battery was quickly dying on the camera). I made this for a couple of reasons:. 1 I wanted one and I thought maybe it would look good. Hey, I am a science person!
