I am however considering, making my toe up socks into mittens, what do you think? This entry was posted in knitting. Notify...

WIP Wednesday | KnittingMommaS's Blog
https://knittingmommas.wordpress.com/2012/08/08/wip-wednesday
I am a working mom of three, and a test and sample knitter. August 8, 2012. I have so many WIP’s going on right now, 4 active projects. The oldest one is a Lola Bunny for baby girl, it’s over a year old, all it needs is an ear and a bum, lol. Much more recent, I have my first cardigan, which was a test knit, I was able to give her my feedback in time, but didn’t get the sleeves knit, so it sits on top, glaring at me, I currently have 2″ left on the one sleeve, then a second one to knit. Notify me of new ...

https://knittingmommas.wordpress.com/2012/07/31/open-for-testing
I am a working mom of three, and a test and sample knitter. July 31, 2012. My racerback top is finally ready for testers, I am just about done testing my Oma’s bonnet pattern (which needed a complete rewrite) so have decided to go ahead and put this one out there. This is the pattern that I have been talking about designing almost my entire time on this blog. If you have a Ravelry account, you can find my tester call here: Call to Test. If you do not have a Ravelry account, and knit or crochet, why not?

January 7, 2013. I adjusted my zipper pouch design to be a little wider, here’s another one I made that is just over 5″ wide. Lever knitting Tomten | asploded

July 15, 2012. Last week I attended the Yarn Harlot. 8216;s Knitting for Speed and Efficiency workshop. Put on by KnitSocial. Which was a lot of fun. I left taking Stephanie’s advice to heart, that learning any new technique requires about 30 days of practice to allow muscle memory to form. She advised everyone to start a simple project like a scarf and work on it a little bit every day using the lever knitting technique. My stitches are all bunched up tightly, as that is another technique to help with k...

Test stitch-outs | asploded
https://asploded.wordpress.com/2013/01/02/test-stitch-outs
January 2, 2013. Here are a couple of test stitch-outs I did yesterday. The first one was supposed to be a letter T from a cross stitch Christmas alphabet freebie. It was a dismal fail with 3 thread breakages in that little bit that I stitched before cutting my losses. Plus, the cross stitch look wasn’t to my taste either. In the recycling bin that alphabet goes! The second one is a gorgeous letter G, from the Small Crowns alphabet by Sonia Showalter. Another ITH zipper pouch. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
