Saturday, December 11, 2010. Don't promise ice cream to a 9 (almost 10) year old unless you can deliver! The Barbarees have been such good friends of mine for a long time. Mother of two. Knitting on the weekends. July 04, 2011. Holidays, wonderful holidays. I have been branching out into the world of quilting during the last term, oh my goodness, what a guilty pleasure it is going to become! And with a quilting shop just around the corner from me it is just too convenient, really! I have my first FO to show you - a lap quilt/ baby cot sized quilt, block by block, firstly if you will indulge me:. And, finally, the finished object - TA DA! So great to meet at last!

But I do look on the bright side. I tried something new and I didn’t care for it. That’s ok. Trying new things always teaches us more about ourselves. And for that I am thankful. Hanging on the wall.
