The Knitting Queen: ARGH!
http://knittingqueen.blogspot.com/2009/01/argh.html
My knitting blog, written by a true diva. Monday, January 05, 2009. I was trying to design a shawl. A circular one. Let's just say my math FAILED. I could try to get ahold of a copy of Knitting Around. My library doesn't have it, so I'd have to ILL, because we are NOT SPENDING MONEY right now.) And then I'd look at Zimmerman's math formulas for the Pi R Square shawl and see if I could figure it out but. that sounds like a lot of work, and I'm trying to enjoy knitting again, you know? I may be back.

My knitting blog, written by a true diva. Friday, May 11, 2007. MD Sheep and Wool. Last weekend, I went to Maryland Sheep and Wool and it was awesome. I was going to take lots of pictures of its awesomeness, but the battery on my camera was dead, so that didn't happen. I bought lots of yarn. Hopefully this weekend I'll replace the camera battery and show you pictures of said yarn. Second sweater sleeve is coming along nicely. My goal is to finish this thing before June 4. Tuesday, May 01, 2007. Here's a ...

My knitting blog, written by a true diva. Thursday, July 20, 2006. As soon as I posted about my knitting slump, it went away. I finished the angora lace scarf (no pix yet, soonish). I got more re-enforcement for Dan's sock, so I cast on and last Sunday at knitting group, I got all the way to the heel-turning bit (huh, I just mistpyed and wrote hell-turning. Hello? So I ripped the whole damn thing out. And started again. I'm still on my toe increases. Grrrrrr. Friday, July 07, 2006. Rain, Rain GO AWAY.

My knitting blog, written by a true diva. Tuesday, January 30, 2007. I know, I know. Part of me telling you I wanted to update once a week was so y'all could ride me when I didn't! Secret Knitting is done. And about to not be a secret because ANN ARBOR! I NEED DENISE'S ADDRESS! I need your address! I'm working on the UFO Rebecca Wrap. Miles of Brioche Stitch = done! First sleeve = done! Second sleeve is almost up to the bit where I start increasing. Then sewing in the sleeves. Monday, January 15, 2007.
The Knitting Queen: Hey!
http://knittingqueen.blogspot.com/2007/06/hey.html
My knitting blog, written by a true diva. Tuesday, June 05, 2007. Can we just admit the fact that with school, my knitting and blogging about knitting is essentially on hiatus? Here are some photos to show I was very productive in my summer break. (Seriously, no time off of school until Christmas, except for when I get random days off, like for 4th of July.). I used the seamless yoke pattern from Ann Budd's The Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns: Basic Designs in Multiple Sizes and Gauges. Knitting...

Knitting Queen's Pattern Page! Patterns and stuff and things seen on the Knitting Queen. Monday, March 21, 2005. Secret Pal 8 Questions. 1 What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like? My favorite would be Kid Silk Haze. I like wool. I don't like novelty stuff or acrylics that feel like plastic. 2 What do you use to store your needles/hooks in? 3 How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced? Any co...
Moot Point Tango: Month 9 recap
http://mootpointtango.blogspot.com/2010/11/month-9-recap.html
Monday, November 1, 2010. 1) Our family costume was Ichabod Crane (me), the Headless Horseman (Ross) and the pumpkin head (Nora). 2) Nora dressed as a dragon for most of the rest of the festivities, including a walk around the neighborhood (though no trick-or-treating). We went to the science museum today and played. So much fun! The columbus scienceuseum has a huge play area with water tables. I'm thinking we may have to find something similar in Pittsburgh. Less than a Shoestring. Poet lover rebel spy.

Moot Point Tango: Month 4 recap
http://mootpointtango.blogspot.com/2010/07/month-4-recap.html
Thursday, July 1, 2010. Note: I stopped blogging right around the time we moved from Ann Arbor to Pittsburgh. Moving to a new city, starting a new job, and taking care of a 4 month old baby proved to be enough to handle, without blogging. But I continued to write in a more private forum. I'm reposting them here more for my own benefit than anything. Baby girl is so unhappy. Teething pain? Just a bad day? Also, Nora is having a growth spurt again. I am STARVING. A friend is having us over to use his compl...

Moot Point Tango: October 2010
http://mootpointtango.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 1, 2010. Tonight is date night! First one since Nora was born, nearly 8 months ago! Date night last night was a fantastic success. And of course, we missed Baby Girl by the end of the evening. Also, RED is a really fun, easy movie. Nora made a friend today! Shannon (our nanny) took her to a storytime at the local Borders and she met a little boy who is almost exactly her age. They are going to meet up again at the library tomorrow. Yay! Nora has a tooth! My little girl is all grown up!

Friday, March 19, 2010. A list of things I'm hooked up to right now. IV line (4 bags currently). Automatic blood pressure cuff. Squeeze-y leg thingies (to prevent blood clots). That last one's a doozy. Links to this post. Labels: labor and delivery. Thursday, March 18, 2010. Not exactly what I expected. So I'm in the hospital. However, I am not in labor. Turns out, I have preeclampsia. I, on the other hand, feel kind of like crap. Updates as events warrant. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Trouble with Trebles: January 2007

This blog is to keep track of my knitting, other craft projects, and the weird bits of life that don't fit anywhere else. Tuesday, January 30, 2007. The 2006 FO Tally. Thanks everyone for the positive feedback about my swap goodies! I'm especially happy that my swap partner liked them. As long as she doesn't think I'm a bad date, then I think I'm off the hook. ;). Lots of other knitters have done it, so I'll give it a shot too. What did I complete in 2006? A couple things made my count difficult. Not exa...

The trials and tribulations of being a knitter, mother, and a woman on this crazy fucked planet we call earth. Thursday, February 21, 2013. Rainbow Knee High Socks. My mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas last year and instead of saying, "yarn" and sending her into a yarn shop with no clue what to buy I added 700 dollars worth of shit to my Knit Picks wish list and sent it off to her. Don't hate about the dollar amount, it was about having things on there for her to choose from, VARIETY. I will updat...
