On Nov. 2, the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Moze-Spouse house, we took the totally corny step of accompanying our Socktoberfest. Socks to Niagara Falls. Mine are the Mystery Socks from the Yahoo SAM group. The Spouse's are the long awaited Trek with Me. Socks You can't see much of the sock-y goodness with Mr. "Almost ready for Century Village. Mozemen's Blues: When Judaism interferes with knitting

Fiber Politics. Teenagers. World travel. That about covers everything, doesn't it? Friday, October 06, 2006. When Judaism interferes with knitting. Tonight the holiday of Sukkot. Starts, and so my knitting ends for a week. I'm still not sure I understand why I have to give up my craft Prozac - sure, in the days when you *had* to knit/weave/spin/sew to clothe your family it was work, but now? And it comes at the worst time, right at the start of my quick-finish-everything-in-sight-before-I-fly panic.

Mozemen's Blues: Coasting in to Paris
http://mozemen.blogspot.com/2007/07/coasting-in-to-paris.html
Fiber Politics. Teenagers. World travel. That about covers everything, doesn't it? Monday, July 30, 2007. Coasting in to Paris. Just in time, I finished the cotton sweater. It's not perfect, but it's meant to be a knock-about sweater, so it's perfect enough. The Middle Teen, who's modeling this shot, wants me to make another, same body size but smaller sleeves, for her, which really means it must be close enough to perfect. That's how I can tell it's a good knit. when the young ones want one too,. So I'l...

Fiber Politics. Teenagers. World travel. That about covers everything, doesn't it? Tuesday, January 02, 2007. Knit from your stash 2007. Like just about everyone in the blogosphere, I'm doing the KFYS07. But this time, I'm going to play it my way. I'm certainly not saying sock yarn doesn't count, because more than half my purchases in 2006 were sock yarn. No allowances for things I'm asked to knit, since that was the other half of my purchases. I am allowing myself to buy whatever I feel like buying.

the Netherwood: October 2006
http://thenetherwood.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 30, 2006. Anyone care to help me with a bit of a puzzling garden question? I planted these lovelies in my food garden and they've done really well. They're rambling, green, slightly furry and have wee tendrils and small yellow flowers. And for the bonus prize round - what the heck are they? Just to be clear, that's a figure of speech. There are no prizes. *lol* But you will win my unflagging admiration and a big lump o gratitude! Any green thumbs out there? Saturday, October 21, 2006.

The Seven Things Project: September 2006
http://seven-things.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
The Seven Things Project. My relationship with stuff, and my experiment with getting rid of it. Saturday, September 30, 2006. The Saturday Seven - #13. The three steps forward, two steps back edition. ARRGH You wouldn't believe the hours I have spent on trying to get rid of stuff this week, and not to very much avail. Early in the week, I did manage to part with three nursing tops and a teether, to a freecyler I've given stuff to before. But it's been downhill ever since. 2 - 5 hours at the sale itself.
