Adventures with a knitting spaz: No mojo

http://www.knittingspaz.blogspot.com/2007/10/no-mojo.html

Adventures with a knitting spaz. Monday, October 08, 2007. Somehow I've lost it. My mojo. Knitting and otherwise. You know what I mean, right? Just kind of a case of the blahs and you just can't shake it? Well, I've taken to cheering myself up with video of BB doing nothing but hiccuping or lying there looking cute (what else do 2 month olds do? And my worst guilty pleasure of all, Gossip Girl. The purple jacket, by the way, has an error in the chart - or at least I'm convinced it does, though I haven't ...

Adventures with a knitting spaz: September 2007

http://www.knittingspaz.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Adventures with a knitting spaz. Monday, September 17, 2007. I have been knitting, really! And yes, there are lots of modifications afoot. I won't bore you with details yet - that's for a later post. But what I AM worried about right now is the cowl neck. Given the fit of the rest of the sweater, is it looking a bit, um, large? Guh this picture could just as well be my pre-booking mug shot. Who modelled a very cute and very new FO for the event, Mary. That's all for now! Subscribe to: Comment Feed (RSS).

Adventures with a knitting spaz. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Look at what arrived today! That would be a gently used Yamaha Clavinova CLP-240. And it plays pretty well for it not being an acoustic piano. Well, at least well enough to fool this piano player. The sound is great, and I'm surprised I'm actually blogging instead of playing it. A few answers to reader's questions: Chrissy. Pattern: Found at Operation Home front here. Gauge: approximately 4.5 sts per inch. Started: February 6, 2007. So you'll...

http://www.knittingspaz.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

Adventures with a knitting spaz. Sunday, March 11, 2007. So when my brother announced that his wife was expecting, he didn't want to know the gender of the baby. I say screw that! Well, the surprise didn't last long because apparently my mother had to just blurt it out. It's a boy! I'm going to have a nephew! So much for that surprise, but I still like good surprises. Like DH springing a Galen Rowell. Nephew's Log Cabin Blanket. Pattern: Log Cabin knitting in Mason-Dixon Knitting. Finished size: 25" x 32".

Knitting Obsessions: April 2008

http://knittingobssessions.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Where I espouse on knitting, yarn, triumphs, frustrations and life. Saturday, April 5, 2008. After all this thinking and designing I needed something simple and brainless. So. Tah Dah! The Ridiculously Simple Poncho. 47 stitches gartered for about 37 inches and then sewn end to side. Toss over head and look really hot. I am now 1/2 way through the back scoop and should be ready for the finishing next week. About what will get the desired result. Others how to knit! Posted by Kendyl Young. Glendale, Calif...

http://knittingobssessions.blogspot.com/2009/04/finally-finished.html

Where I espouse on knitting, yarn, triumphs, frustrations and life. Sunday, April 26, 2009. Finally finished. Finally. This is the most detailed bit of knitting to date and I am quite proud of myself. There are flaws, certainly. My next Fair Isle will be much better, certainly. But this will always be the first! The first thing I have to tell you is that this bag is BIG. I thought it would be this cute little side bag, but it is a full on purse. Here is a perspective shot:. Posted by Kendyl Young. Subscr...

bits of knits: September 2005

http://candsmom.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html

A mother of three in her quest for zen and peace in a sometimes contrary world. Friday, September 30, 2005. How many Hail Mary's? I'm convinced that the co-requisite to having babies is having guilt. From the moment you find out you're pregnant, you're plauged by guilt. (Mmmm, those chocolate chip cookies were sooo scrumptious! It only snowballs once they're born. (Should I let her cry tonight instead of getting her? Am I being selfish? But I need to sleep! I should, shouldn't I? Yes, that's Stinky negle...

There's a very fine line between 'hobby' and 'mental illness'." - Dave Barry. September 24, 2005. Long time no post. School has been taking up most of my time lately, so there hasn't been much knitting around here. I did finish the first sock to be swapped. I brightened the picture a bit to show the pattern off better - in real life it's a deeper green. Is coming over to loan me a spinning wheel and give me my first wheel lesson! knitting soul | turning the knots into something beautiful

Turning the knots into something beautiful. Reflections on Why Christian 2018. March 27, 2018. I don’t remember who told me I couldn’t be a pastor. Maybe a parent? Maybe my own pastor? Maybe I just gleaned it from the culture around me? When you don’t see women in positions of authority, you can start to think that women don’t deserve positions of authority. Please hear me. Miss Sophie strickt | My knitting spin-off

Dezember 29, 2010 in FO's.
