Friday, July 23, 2010. My kit progress so far. I'm really busy working on the kit for Gryphon, I have most of the extras. And I already know which pattern to send and have yarn from my stash that will be perfect for it. and of course I'm already busy knitting on the handmade item, it's about halfway done. I might post pics next week, too busy this week with getting everything done, packing my sons suitcase for 10 days with his grandparents and planning my 5 day vacation in the UK. This week is all about the scavenger hunt, so get out those cameras and magnifying glasses for some good ol' item hunting! As we don't have points going for summer camp, originality markers are not required, and you can use whatever photos you find. :) Super easy! But feel free to still get creative, and most importantly HAVE FUN!

Under the Silver Moon. The Private Journal of Argentia Synistra Pascal of the House of Slytherin. Tuesday, January 6, 2009. Jr Death Eater Coffee Cozy. So, we had an assignment for Professor Stylos' Apparition class. We had to knit or crochet a mug cozy in House colors. Since I am of the noble House of Salazar Slytherin, I used green and silver (well, grey) for mine. I used an adaptation of this pattern. Cascade 220 yarn and size 8 needles (I cast on a few extra stitches and I knit loosely to begin with).

I made 2 dragonfly dishcloths and crocheted them together to make a small bag. I still have to add a liner though.
