Knitty Nancy: April 2008
http://knittynancy.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2008. Toasting The Vineyard Shetland Triangle. Here is the blocked and completed Shetland Triangle. In the Vineyard colorway of KnitPicks. The indoor color is closer to the actual color. This colorway is gorgeous in natural daylight, but not nearly as bright as in the photos taken outdoors. I can't wait to take it to tomorrow's knit night. :) They get it. My sweet DH is wonderful and dear, but no one in my house understands the excitement of a FO. And the joy of blocking lace.

Knitty Nancy: August 2007
http://knittynancy.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2007. Blocked and Beautiful - IMHO ;). This is a fun and fast knit that produces lovely results. It is about 52" in diameter. It was lightly steam blocked. I should have blocked it more to really "kill" the yarn, but I can always block it again. I am very pleased with the Hemlock Ring Blanket. I enjoyed both the knitting and resulting blanket so much that I'll probably knit another. Next time, it will be knitted in wool. Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Fun and Lovely Bind Off. My Trekking ...

Knitty Nancy: January 2008
http://knittynancy.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 25, 2008. The Pinwheel Baby Blanket. It is approximately 36" in diameter. The yarn is Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn with size 10 1/2 needles. For the ruffled border, I knit into the front and back of every stitch and then used the seed stitch. The border is about 1 1/2 inches wide. It took a lot of patience and time, but was well worth it. IMHO, it is really cute. There is no photo, but another Clapotis. Saturday, January 19, 2008. A Finished Object - Chale Shetsoie. But I am still think...

Knitty Nancy: Luscious
http://knittynancy.blogspot.com/2008/07/luscious.html
Monday, July 28, 2008. Luscious is the best word to describe my Meandering Vines Shawl. The color is delicate, the pattern is very clever, and the yarn is so very soft. It was a wonderful tactile experience. I loved the feel of the yarn as it passed through my hands. I love the look and the feel of the finished shawl. It has lovely drape. As you can see, I can't say enough wonderful things about my MV. I had 4 skeins of KP's Alpaca Cloud in Peppermint Heather. Note: All the links go to Ravelry.

Monday, December 31, 2007. Wishing all of you everything wonderful for the new year! 2007 has been very good to me. DH is so sweet and thoughtful. In addition to all that he is and does, DH bought me a new camera. I have graduated from my beloved 2 MP Nikon Coolpix. To an adorable Canon Elph. The Nikon has been great, but I love the size of my new camera. Thanks, DH! I never thought that I'd be so excited about a new camera! Here is what has been happening on my needles:. First is an Easy Triangle Shawl.
