One Day at a Time. Saturday, September 18, 2010. I can't forget Ava now can I. She's 10 1/2 months already and I don't know where time goes. Doesn't she look so happy in this picture? She is a pretty happy girl. She's been sick lately so hasn't really been herself, but she's gradually getting better. She has mostly "adult" food now. She LOVES mac 'n cheese and bananas. She's not a picky eater and will eat most things. I really think she likes the independence of feeding herself. But boy does she have fun!

One Day at a Time. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Back in April we lost another one of our dogs. Again this happened in the middle of the night and was a major shock to us. Sabri was the second greyhound that we adopted. After adopting Fangio we wanted to get a companion for him so we chose to get a second greyhound. The saying among greyhound owners is "Greyhounds are like potato chips, you can't just have one". It is a very true statement. As with Rossi we could have taken her to the U of M to have an MRI d...

One Day at a Time. Saturday, November 13, 2010. Now Here is a SNOWMAN! Chad and Aine went out in the snow today to have some fun and they decided to build a snowman. Here they are. And the final results are. And yes you are seeing it correctly. The snowman or "Jingle Bells" as Aine named him, is almost 7 feet tall to the top of his hat. They had tons of fun, many people passing by honked and waved and somebody even stopped at the side of the road and took a picture. The Difference a Day Makes.

We knew we were going to rename our hound and Chad had come up with the name of a former Formula One Race car driver named Juan Manuel Fangio.
