As most of you may know, our school is trying to earn a Green Flag. To earn this, we need to be very responsible with our rubbish and litter. What we found was that there was a lot of rubbish being thrown on the ground and in the bushes and grass around the school. Our next task will be to make a plan of how we will fix this problem.

Home School Community Liaison News. Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Ice-cream Day - 28th May 2014. We had such a lovely treat today. It was Ice-Cream Day and everyone brought in 2euro to raise money for Down Syndrome Ireland. All the boys and girls had ice-cream and wafers for breakfast. What a delicious way to start the day, and what a fun way to raise money. We raised over 300euro for Down Syndrome Ireland. Well done everybody! Here are some photos of the children enjoying the delicious ice-cream.

Home School Community Liaison News. Friday, March 8, 2013. The children were busy sowing daffodil and crocus seeds last October but their hard work has paid off. Take a look at their beautiful flowers that have come into bloom over the past few weeks. On Wednesday March 6th, we celebrated World Book Day. Children enjoyed many different activities and readings. Some even got dressed up as Cat In The Hat. Parents, why not browse through the many books outside the office, they're all free!

Home School Community Liaison News. Thursday, August 22, 2013. We are reopening on Wednesday 28th August. For Senior Infants, First and Second Classes children will start at 8.50 as usual. School will finish for these classes at 12.00 as there will be a staff meeting. We are back to our normal times for Thursday and Friday, i.e. 8.50 to 2.30 for First and Second Classes and 8.50 to 1.30 for Senior Infants. The School will be open for payments for books and uniforms on Monday and Tuesday from 10 to 1.
