Hi, I'm Michelle. I learnt how to crochet about three years ago. And have since been bitten by a more generic crafty bug! I've just moved to China with my boyfriend and we're both working for an international school in Shanghai - he's a teacher and I'm the Marketing Manager for the school. We've been in China since August and there's a lot to get used to as well as a lot to love! As well as crochet (and now dumplings) I'm also a big fan of dance, theatre, coffee, pie and Radio 4 - come and find me on.

I really enjoyed making these little Christmas pudding tree decorations this Christmas - they made lovely presents. I attempted to make my first ever candles this year and had mixed success. Sunday, 3 February 2013. I've subscribed to two magazines recently - Mollie Makes. Which I've been meaning to subscribe to for ages, and Simply Crochet. Which is a new magazine from the same people as Mollie Makes and was a bit of a impulse buy! They've got a good deal on at the moment £5 for 3 issues. With my MM subscription I got a little pack of lovely assorted fabric which arrived the other day - now I just need to think of something nice to do with them. Saturday, 26 January 2013. Granny squares and cocktails. I've been working on these little flower granny squares over the past couple of weeks and I'm finally ready to start stitching them together to make my cushion. I love the mix of colours that I've got here. These squares have been really nice to work on as you can get each one made quite quickly and it's great seeing your little pile of squares growing.
