Arts and Fibers: August 2015
http://knottyneedleartsandfibers.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Planning and Plotting and Organizing. My list of projects is HUGE! So what do I do? I keep adding to it! Isn't that what you are suppose to do? I also have to update measurements for the girls so I know I am using the correct pattern size. Pattern size and ready-to-wear size are ssssooooo different.). So for Texter, and the patterns she has been waiting for. Bottom, left, Harley. And, of course, Tardis. Maybe Lady K as a Darlek? But the real ambitious one is going to be this one.

Food: Dutch Babies or "They Didn't Warn Me"
http://knottyneedlefood.blogspot.com/2014/02/dutch-babies-or-they-didnt-warn-me.html
Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Dutch Babies or "They Didn't Warn Me". I was looking for something 'different' for breakfast the other morning and I had seen this recipe. On a blog I follow and it looked good. The recipe was simple enough and I halved it since I would probably be the only one eating on it. Now all the pictures for "Dutch Babies" come out all golden and FLAT. Mine, however, came out of the oven looking like this. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Arts and Fibers: I'm a Winner!
http://knottyneedleartsandfibers.blogspot.com/2013/12/im-winner.html
Tuesday, December 3, 2013. I follow Vicki Welsh at Field Trips in Fiber. She is so talented with her hand-dyed fabrics and quilts and fused glass and.well, there is just not anything she isn't great at. But I won a fat quarter of her fabric last week (and sorry that it took so long to post about it). It was great walking out to the mail box and coming back in with a lovely card and this great little package inside. Such a lovely way to start out the holiday season, don't you think? Im so glad you like it!

KNOTTYNEEDLE: April 2015
http://knottyneedle.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. So I've been bumming a bit. My head knows what needs to be done, but my body is screaming "are you kidding! But there is a little bit of color with this 'challenge' in my world. My job is offering incentives this year for dropping the numbers, which would mean dollars in my pocket at the end of the year. My health, both mental and physical, would be better. Now don't get me wrong. This person/body loves her 'treats' way too much to completely cut things out. I am talking ...And m...

KNOTTYNEEDLE: Week In Review - August 2 - 8
http://knottyneedle.blogspot.com/2015/08/week-in-review-august-2-8.html
Sunday, August 09, 2015. Week In Review - August 2 - 8. It seems everything is on hold for now, just waiting until we can start the move to our new home. The big weeping birch in the front yard of the house came down this week as part of the agreement. However, it seems they have left us a load of wood still in the yard. Hhhmmmm. CJ keeps saying "bonfire" and we keep telling him - no! 42,572 steps or 19.65 miles walked. 1 book read (on a really good one now). 2 rounds on Sophie's Universe is finished.

KNOTTYNEEDLE: Mr. Holmes - Definitely NOT What I Was Expecting
http://knottyneedle.blogspot.com/2015/08/mr-holmes-definitely-not-what-i-was.html
Sunday, August 02, 2015. Mr Holmes - Definitely NOT What I Was Expecting. Ok, first off, let me say that Ian McKellen could fix me scrambled eggs. Any time he wants too. Yes, I know he's gay and I know the odds of him fixing me anything after an intimate moment are far higher than me winning the lottery. But I'm saying I think he's talented and sexy. So. One of the first things which lend themselves to this sense of fragility is when his doctor tells him to put a mark in a diary every day when he can't r...

KNOTTYNEEDLE: March 2015
http://knottyneedle.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. I subscribe to the 'rare-bird-alert' via Cornell Ornithology Lab and received one on Sunday about this goose on a nearby lake. Monday, I had some time on my hands (housework out of the question) and the day was shaping up to be beautiful, so I decided to do a little nature walk before work. They aren't a duck, because they don't have webbed feet. Their feet are 'lobed'. And to take off, they run across the water. Also in the mix were a few American Widgeons and a Northern Shoveler.

Montana Life: July 2013
http://knottyneedlemontanalife.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Montana State Fair in Great Falls. Being a Marine recruiter, Gibbs was required to assist in manning the booth at the State Fair this past weekend. And wanting to see more of what goes on in Montana, Texter, Lady K and I attended the fair twice. The first was opening night (Friday) and the camera ate my pictures. Then we went again on Sunday, both to get more pictures and to see Gibbs. Crowds, or lack thereof, didn't bother Lady K. Jams and Jellies (the whole exhibit). One of the ...
