I hadn’t worked full-time in 6 years. Except for that mothering two small children gig. When I wasn’t freaking out last Fall it was because I was praying the Welcoming Prayer.

Craig A. Steffen. November 26, 2014. Emma’s discovered singing. It’s pretty cute. Her favorites are, predictably,. Wheels on the Bus. He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands. Plus some thing about a cow. Thing is, they all kinda sound the same. Think native chanting. Cherokee, maybe, or perhaps Gaelic. Meditating. Some start as prayers: Let me be a channel of Your love and end up as the reminder be a channel of God’s love. Lately I’ve found myself repeating, Lose your edges. How does it feel? It feels like...

Craig A. Steffen. April 6, 2015. Happy Easter. Happy New Year, for that matter. My last post was during Advent, and here it is Eastertide. In this celebration of redemption, resurrection and new life I can confess to you that I’ve missed you. I’ve missed posting and I’ve missed your feedback. So what’s the deal? Why haven’t I been writing? Well, there’s just been a lot going on. That’s not an excuse, but, well, it is true. Since that Advent post I have:. Interviewed for a job I didn’t know I wanted.
