Monday, July 8, 2013. We have had a lot of cousin visitors and fun the last few weeks. Our Cambers cousins stopped by, it was great to see them. The last time we saw them was two years ago. We wished that they could've stayed longer. We also had Ainsley and Thomas visit for almost a week. I love to have company and I like to schedule lots of fun activities when we have cousins come to visit. Bathing a dog is fun right? We went to the Fresno Zoo and fortunately the weather cooperated. Sounds like a blast!

Sunday, August 31, 2008. I mentioned in an earlier post that we went up to Sacramento last week. We had a great time, the kids especially. Here is my first video montage! I just love learning new computer stuff. My husband has been helping me to load up my ipod with all my music. Side note: He got me an ipod for my birthday last year and I took it to my brother-in-law and he loaded it up with his music for me. Friday, January 27, 2012. Look at the accent wall I painted in my entryway! It's in a fun alternating-color herringbone design. I've been wanting to do something cool on this wall for a while (I even tried and badly failed a stenciling attempt back in the summer), so when I saw this ceiling. I knew I wanted to copy the design. It was a fun project. What do you think? I'd love to dress the wall up even more with updated lighting, a console table, a huge shiny mirror, and a plush rug on the floor.

This year she preserved 285 quarts of 27 different items. To me this is the perfect example of living ones life for sustainability and self reliance. One of the things that my wife got for me was the Country Living Grain Mill, this is one of the best on the market and is capable of making fine pastry. Flour by hand. I put allot.
