Sunday, August 28, 2011. Life in the islands. When the weather is nice, we are very lucky to have a boat and friends with boats that we can enjoy what the Pacific Northwest has to offer. We have had some nice weekends that we have headed out either for just the day or to stay the night. The kids love being on the boat and then being able to play and run free on the beaches. Friday, October 12, 2012. Life in the pumpkin patch. My mom and I got to go on Blake's first preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch! I have been out to Stoney Rigde Farms a couple times with Cole and his class and now it is fun to redo this experience with Blake and grandma Connie as well. This past weekend we had a blast going to the local Halloween shop and thrift store to check out Halloween costumes and get some ideas. We could not stop laughing as we tried on an array of costumes and hats and were plain out goofy! None of these are the actual costumes that will be worn on the big day, but we sure had fun! Favorite option, too bad jacket was $60. If only I kept mine I had as a kid.same one I'm pretty sure!
