Saturday, June 27, 2009. Dobbin House, a stop on the "underground railroad". We were in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and found the old Dobbin House Restaurant. This house was standing during the Civil War and acted as an army hospital for both sides. This is Mason beating the Baker Middle School record for the high jump. The record was set in 1977 at 5'7". Mason beat it at his last track meet jumping 5'7 1/4". Thursday, March 12, 2009. Noah my 2nd little genius. He is really catching on, I thought. Then he asked if he could write some words. Of course! This is what he wrote, his first time trying a sentence. I gave him no prompt. Then he illustrated the sentences. If you ask him, his sentence was "A CAT RAN ON A BOX". Then he said that he knew a good one. his third attempt. I know that I'm a bit biased because I'm his mommy, but I think this is pretty amazing for a boy that just turned 4 years old in November!
