We celebrated Jesus' re-writing of the Passover meal and we were amazed as he washed the crud off of the disciples feet (and their hearts, too, of course). Thursday, January 26, 2006. On the other side of the coin I am in the presence of pranksters. The confirmation boys filled the sidewalk full of water before class and the sidewalk under the front door was glare ice. Yeah, never a dull moment. Thursday, March 13, 2008. Good to be stuck? I have been absolutely loving our Wednesday evening Lenten services. I am really sad that they have ended for the year. In the parish I serve I have experienced a different climate and atmosphere that has grown the past three years. Monday, September 26, 2005. The Youngest and the Oldest. Here is some fun for Sunday's Gospel. It is a true blessing when you can catch part of the vision God has for a community. What I mean is the fact that through prayer, conversations and time I think it doesn't take long to discern where the future strength of a congregation lies. Tuesday, December 20, 2005. As we enter into the week before Christmas, I pass along blessings to each of you who visit this blog. It is a blessing to me to be a part of this unique community. I was blessed this week through a children's program. I found new hope in the church as I watched 30 kids from our small congregation fumble through their program on Sunday night. The north shore is spectacular. whether it is the hawaiian green sea turtle, the surf at sunset beach, or the waves at pipeline, i can see why people visit here. only one hotel on the entire north shore, there is a much different feel then in waikiki where there are about 175 hotels in a 2-mile by 1-mile stretch of reclaimed land.
