Friday, March 13, 2009. Getting ready to go. I am just testing our blog for the Warren Wilson spring break trip to Koinonia Farm in Americus, GA. So far today my preparation for the trip has included:. With Kayte, picking out the two pigs who will make the trip with us - a gift from our group and the WWC farm to the Koinonia farm. Picking up the pet carrier for the pig. A whole bunch of administrative tasks. I'm almost ready to hit the road. Hope I haven't forgotten anything. Spiritual Life Break Trippers.

Though we did not speak the same language, we did share in much laughter with each other. (Who knew we'd have such an international experience in Plains, GA? Today I enter into a silent retreat at a hermitage in Colorado where I am choosing not to be "plugged in" for a few days. I will take my experiences with me for deeper reflection and prayer.
