(Last year, one of our six-year-old batteries was dead after being disconnected for 8 months in the heat.) We entertained a variety of options:. Because I’d suffered from seasickness on the passage to Hawaii, we hatched a plan: I would fly home with Sequoia, and our friend Captain Ron would fly in to help Todd bring the boat back. She’s a beautiful 1979 Hans Christian 38 Mark II with the sought after pullman berth layout! We’ve owned her for 11 years and cruised Mexico and Hawaii from 2007-2010.
