Goed voor vier personen. 300 gram rijst naar keuze. Een halve rijpe meloen. 3 plakken ananas uit blik. En voor de dressing:. 1 eetlepel witte wijnazijn. 1 heel fijn gesneden sjalotje of ander uitje. 1 eetlepel gedroogde peterselie. Een kommetje gehakte walnoten. Meng alle ingrediënten van de dressing en zet ook dit in de koelkast.

Red cakes in the tradition of Baumkuchen (tree cake) and Schichttorte (layered cake). Spreading the first layer of batter into the cake pan. Adding the second layer of batter. 6 eggs, at room temperature. 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp sugar. 14 tbsp unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar. 1/3 cup apricot jam.
