Chucko Paradise - Fly Fishing Stories

Monday, August 31, 2009. Dan and I had a couple of fish under our belts, and Kyle had yet to hook up with anything. After missing a couple (dozen) hooksets, Dan offered to let Kyle hold one of his fish so he didn't go home empty handed. Dan is a nice guy like that. Thursday, August 27, 2009. Having just moved back up to Provo, I was excited to get out and do some fishing with my old buddy Nate. All photos taken by Natedogg himself ( Flikr. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Monday, November 2, 2009. Paparazzi Up in My Stuff. On my birthday this year (May 21) I hooked up with a friend of a friend to do some fishing in So. Utah. His name is Scott Donaghe, California surf fly-fishing pro/photog extraordinaire. I decided it would be a lot of fun to hit a very picturesque skinny water ending in a beautiful slot canyon. The trip was awesome: great fishing and great scenery. This morning, Nate. Congrats Scott, hope to see some more of your stuff in mags in the future! Headed to Ko...

Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Tipped me off about some fish that may be holding on a bank because of the higher flows, so I threw on a parahopper and had some good success with it. The PMD's started coming off around 5 and I saw some rising fish so I threw on a small BWO (only mayfly I had in my box, how did that happen? Maybe next time I go I will help out the population and keep some fish? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Getting lost in solitude. The Winona Fly Factory.

Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Tigers, oh my! Not long thereafter, I had an insanely aggressive strike and was able to set the hook. After landing the fish, we taped it at 24" without any tail pinching or anything, so it was DEFINITELY at least 25 3/4", Kyle. My biggest to date. Labels: mouse fly patterns. One Way Rivers: July 2011
http://onewayrivers.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Stories of my adventures as I travel the never ending highways of water. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. After that long day of hiking I took the kids to the park and put the float tube in the Tualatin River that runs by it. Remember, keep your mouth closed and throw the fish back. I feel it may be a bit of a dirty river! Here is the little bugger I was able to find. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Flies with a Story. There was an error in this gadget. DW Fly Fishing and Tying. Why do I run? Pain and agony. with a little love thrown in.". Friday, November 27, 2009. St George Marathon October 3, 2009. I don't know what i think running these marathons on a whim. The most untrained marathon i have ran yet. i debated the night before whether to even get up, at 4:00 in the morning, and go. Emily and i came in, ha ha holding hands, at 5:05:00. We were chips on our shows so race time and our time is different, and we start close to the back.). As we were standing around freezing.
