Moments From Nature's Secrets. Sunday, July 5, 2015. Mikepércs: Youngs In Action. After yesterday's successful photography, I decided to visit the place again. I have to wait quite long for the young white wagtails to land on the right place, but as soon as they do, they start to go for the tiny flying creatures:. I don't know however, what this bird is trying with:. When two birds land on the same branch they try to drive away each other .:. Until one of them flies away in the end. SELECTION OF MY PHOTOS.

Moments From Nature's Secrets. Sunday, December 28, 2014. The real cold has come. The pool has been frozen completely. I brought some warm water, but it has frozen on the ice within an hour. So, the birds can't drink. The sparrow hawk hasn't landed in front of me for long, so it would be great if it showed itself again. The nuthatch hasn't come recently either. I get into the hide and in a few minutes the jays are in front of me:. Then a few tit photos come:. Later I'm trying to record some scene:. It se...

Moments From Nature's Secrets. Saturday, July 18, 2015. Mikepércs: Flowers And Wagtails. I decided to improve my wagtail shots with some flowers today. Getting to the pond I set the plants in the right place before getting into the hide. Soon arrives a semi bald white wagtail:. Then a young one lands just on the right place:. Some exercise comes after:. What does this flower taste like? This bird wants to get rid of the mud stuck to its legs:. A yellow wagtail lands for some preening as well:.

Moments From Nature's Secrets. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. This morning I found many wasp spiders near the village on a weedy area. The cobwebs are decorated by tiny dewdrops:. In the afternoon when I visited the place again almost every wasp spider had its prey in the cobweb. I found small cross spiders too, they were waiting for their prey as well in the middle of their cobwebs:. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Fancsika Pond: Second Try. Saturday, July 25, 2015. Moments From Nature's Secrets. Sunday, June 28, 2015. Mikepércs: Coot Rigour And Parent's Care. Another try with the coots and their hatchlings. The turtle heads appear first in front of my hide again, then the bearded reedlings arrive and they are picking something out from the water while holding the reeds. However I can't take good images of them among the thick vegetation. And bundles it off. Perhaps it's not her hatchling? But it's feeding attentively the other one:. It's not a real beauty:. Today's photography hasn't been very productive, I fund only this photo worth uploading:. Sunday, January 4, 2015. Mikepércs: The Tit's Scalp. It's been snowing at night! If only I could catch some snowing at the hide! The morning is not very cold, so the snow on the branches is melting slowly. There's still a lot of snow here:. Tree Sparrow and Great Tit.

Moments From Nature's Secrets. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Mikepércs: Trying With The Stonechats. This morning I'm making an attempt with the stonechats on the meadow nearby. They are active but don't come close enough. Yet one of them is landing in front of me for a short time:. Then I'm wating for them for a while, but without success. On my way home I take a few shots of these shaggy manes (if I'm correct), they have been growing on the cows' dung:. Saturday, May 23, 2015. Mikepércs: The Gadwall Returns.

Moments From Nature's Secrets. Sunday, March 29, 2015. I started to the pond enthusiastically at dawn, hoping the ducks and the redshanks would appear again. In front of the hide the green plants are growing, so I was hoping in some nice composition. Being overcast, there's no reason pushing the shutter button, so I'm just watching the events outside, the redshanks, the stilts and the ducks. Slowly the lights are getting stronger and a redshank gets really close to my hide:. Saturday, March 21, 2015.

Moments From Nature's Secrets. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. At the pond again. There's not much activity on the landing branch, but it won't stay there without birds:. The bearded reedlings are roaming nearby again:. This morning hasn't been very successful but it's promising that the shorebirds are getting closer with the drying water.
