The Grass is always greener. Thursday, March 17, 2011. Just listening to Dave Dobbyn's "Loyal" on the telly on the memorial day service for Christchurch. It is such a beautiful song that it always puts a wee tear in my eye. It is also a lovely song for the situation here in Christchurch. I never thought i'd go this way. It wasn't on the cards. The Grass is always greener. Saturday, July 24, 2010. So I started Grad school on Monday and it was definitely the right decision. Straight away, the vibe has been positive and while it is going to be an intense year (social bye bye for now) it will be worth it. There are 34 of us in our intake (there was 35 but one guy left on day 3). 12 Secondary and 22 Primary. The Grass is always greener. Friday, August 6, 2010. So I've made it through the first 3 weeks of the course, and I am absolutely loving it! We have been teaching a reading programme one on one for the last two weeks, which was great, and a great introduction to teaching. Starting Monday, it all goes up an extra level, with my first placement, this tme at Spreydon Primary. I have a Year 1-2 class and I am really excited about getting into it. Koor Exaudi
Koor Exaudi is een enthousiast koor uit Westkapelle, bestaande uit ongeveer 35 mannen en vrouwen. Wij zingen: Nederlands- en Engelstalig repertoire, mooie gedragen liederen, vlotte aanstekelijke gospelliederen, acapella of met pianobegeleiding. Wij verlenen al vele jaren onze medewerking aan kerkdiensten en andere passende activiteiten. De pianobegeleiding wordt verzorgd door Leny Stokman- de Graaf. Sinds september 2008 is Moritz Benschop onze dirigent. Koor Exaudi is in 1976 opgericht.

Minstens een keer per jaar voert het koor een groot werk of een combinatie van kleinere werken uit met beroepssolisten en een beroepsorkest. 20,00 per maand.

Koor FeniX
FeniX is een Amsterdams koor, dat muziek zingt uit de 19de tot en met de 21ste eeuw. Spring naar de inhoud. Fenix zoekt lage bassen. Hou je van zingen en overweeg je bij een koor te gaan? Op dit moment is er plaats voor lage bassen (en een lage alt). Van nieuwe leden verwacht FeniX, dat zij noten kunnen lezen en enige zangervaring hebben. De repetities zijn op woensdagavond van 20.00 tot 22.30 uur in het Cygnus Gymnasium, Vrolikstraat 8, Amsterdam. Kom dan een keer meedoen om te proberen op het bevalt!
