Rac - R.TCM.H. How to prepare for your first acupuncture visit. Please fill out the pertinent forms and bring them, completed, to the appointment. Try to arrive a few minutes early so that you may settle down, use the washroom etc. beforehand. Do not drink any caffeine or alcohol before your appointment. No alcohol should be consumed the evening after a treatment. Make sure you are well hydrated and have eaten a small snack or light meal ahead of time.
