Mayan woman carries tortillas on her head as she walks past the old church in the Pueblo of Yaxuná. This is probably a PreClassic piece, as the carvings are difficult to decipher. They've found inscriptions in the architecture here dating back to the 'Early Oxkintok' phase (300-500 AD) that tell of the Pre-Classic history of life in 300 BC.
