STATION CHURCHES and CHAPELS. St Sebastian Church, Vazhichal. Vazhichal church is under the direct administration of Koratty parish. The new church was blessed by Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil on 16th of February 2006. The feast of St. Sebastian is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of the month of January. St Joseph’s Church, Attappadam. Holy Family Church, Kattappuram. Sisters of Holy Family serve under this station church. There are four chapels under the Koratty parish.

Every year Annual Feast is celebrated on Saturday and Sunday following 10th of October, and Octave on next Saturday and Sunday. The procession with band, drum beats and adorned umbrella attract people during the festival. It is a moving scene when the devotees crawl on their knees, pay respect to Holy Mother, Koratty Muthy. Every day during the feast days there is the blessings of vehicles. And everyday Novena is conducted for special intentions.

However evidences are there to prove that this church has existed during the period when Sakthan Thampuran (1775-1790) reigned over the erstwhile Cochin Province.
