As buses from Seoul to Daejon run every half hour and we were starting the tour on a Thursday, we headed to the bus station without having made a reservation. The Seomjin river trail had been completed very recently, we heard about it from a cyclist on the Geumgang trail. On a day trip to Incheon we confirmed it at the Four Rivers trail office. The woman at the office added the Seomjingang page to our bicycle passports. We bought a map of all the trails, now including the newest one. Sunchang - Seomjingang dam - Sunchang: 88km. On a Sunday ride to Incheon, one of our favorite spots, we discovered yet another trail that had been completed. The Ocheon trail connects the Saejae and Geumgang trails, one more step toward the bicycling network through the entire country. Off we went the following weekend to ride the Ocheon trail. We decided begin our ride in Chungju. This would allow us to revisit Suanbo, a spa town where we spent a night during the Incheon - Busan ride. Chungju (충주) - Suanbo (수안보): 31Km.
