Brent, Jenn, Finley and Ace. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. After some hard work, sweat, and sore muscles our patio project is now complete! It's beautiful and we enjoyed our first picnic on it last Fri.we had to wash it down when we were finished because Ace didn't understand the concept of a picnic.but it was so nice to enjoy the finished product. Brent, Jenn, Finley and Ace. Sunday, August 7, 2011. Brent picked up Finley's full-size bed during nap time. And I quickly made her bed and rearranged furniture before she woke up. Gone is the toddler bed and in it's place is a BIG bed! Complete with new bedding! Still room for her table and chairs, but the rocking chair has officially been removed. Last weekend we walked down to the pond to check out the duck race.maybe next year we'll be more on top of things and actually purchase a duck to compete in the race! It's hard to see.but between the trees is a yellow blur.all the rubber duckies in the pond! Finley thought it would be fun to bring the duck call down.we "forgot" it at home though! Pretty serious as he scans the water for ducks! Two rubber duckies break away from the pack!

Finley could not understand why we were there by ourselves.normally we meet another family as a "night out". After some persuasion, she decided that she could have fun by herself! Ace always has fun! Finley stopping to play with the Happy Meal toy.but little brother isn't far behind! He just looks like trouble, doesn't he? They play very well together! Saying "Hi" from above!
