http://christiglasco.blogspot.com/2008/11/my-new-walls.html
Wednesday, November 26, 2008. The OLD water heater. The NEW water heater. When you walk into my house, directly behind the front door is a shelving unit (that I did NOT have to install.thank goodness.where I keep my books and movies and such. Then you enter the living room. Which is also connected to the dining room. Through the door in the dining room you come to the itty bitty kitchen. Up these stairs (between the living room and dining room). Are the two bedrooms and even more itty bitty bathroom.

Toluca Bound: Cow Tipping
http://christiglasco.blogspot.com/2009/02/cow-tipping.html
Tuesday, February 3, 2009. There have been several instances since I've been here where I thought to myself, "Only in Mexico." Random activities, things seen, and even things people do have me thinking this phrase. But I think today takes the cake. Only in Mexico :). Yeah a cow in the road in Molalla and everyone would stop and get out and try to rope it. lol. February 4, 2009 at 5:47 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sunday, July 20, 2008. Well, I had grand plans of catching you all up on our adventures to SW Oklahoma, our last days at work, and our preparation for a Mexico mission trip, but that will all have to wait, as we're leaving in 11 1/2 hours for Mexico and still have some packing (and sleeping) to do. We'll be in Matamoros, Mexico this week doing some mission work with several other churches. We're both really excited about this trip and hope that our small efforts will contribute to some big results. Here ...

To which my immediate response (and I think Jordan's, too) was "volunteer work? For us it's homework, work, dishes, laundry, class, grocery shopping, cooking, bill paying, budgeting, wanting time together, wanting time to relax, wanting more time with my horse, wanting time for hobbies, needing sleep. Saturday, March 7, 2009. The Time is Coming. Well, friends.my time in Mexico is officially coming to a close. I made the decision while I was home at Christmas that what I really needed was to come back, find a teaching job, and start paying off those huge amounts in student loans (that I accumulated in trying to become a teacher.so why not actually BE one? Friday, February 27, 2009. For those who have been wondering, I didn't get the amazing job at OSU that I've been waiting and waiting to hear about. I'm pretty bummed. I could say A LOT more, but I've cried, ranted, and told my sob story to any and every listening ear (willing or not). So, I'll let the picture say a thousand words instead.
