Busy, busy, busy - Hall of Fame
http://canadian-snoopy.livejournal.com/34678.html
It helps to be good. Busy, busy, busy. I had barely caught up with my flist when the weekend came and there was much work to be done and cake to be eaten and presents to be squealed at (with dignity, you understand, with DIGNITY) and being happy and busy, which is, really, the best kind of busy. And somehow, you. Thanks to all who wished me a good day - you guys are an awesome and wonderful lot. And oh, before I forget! I got tagged by. I've always loved fall the best of all seasons, and with time that - Kat Allison. 06:33 pm August 24th, 2009. Is full of huge toppling tomato plants buckling under the weight of fruit and redolent of ripe fecundity and rich earthy succulence with just a faint foreshadowing of vegetative death and decay. In honor of the latter, I ended up, rather unexpectedly, making and canning five pints of peach chutney yesterday (my Seattle friends M and J called and said "We bought a case of peaches! Put everything i...

Passing by soundlessly - Anna S. 21 April 2011 @ 01:26 pm. In the last few days I've managed to drop my laptop off the top bunk and lose my voice to some kind of throat infection. So I really have been offline in more than one way. Yesterday I made a trip to a funeral home here in Seattle, an affiliate to the one in Virginia that handled my mom's body; I had to sign a release for cremation. Need to log off the library computer now, so this is just a passing hello. 10 comments Leave a comment. Yay for the...

Nov 11th, 2014 at 11:38 AM. We served. We rock. The east coast OC. Do me a solid. Nov 11th, 2011 at 7:14 PM. Veterans rock every day and every year, not just on 11/11/11 (cool as that date sounded the first dozen or so times I heard it - exponentially less cool as the day progressed). We're experiencing our first chilly snap of the season. I'm loving it. It'll be back in the 80's by Monday. ;). Do me a solid. Not doing much on a Veterans Day. Nov 11th, 2009 at 4:06 PM. So last week too much happened on V.

Some random notes from the home(owner) front - Kat Allison. 08:50 pm September 27th, 2009. Some random notes from the home(owner) front. Homebuying is famously all about location; but timing is also a key element. As in, one ought not to close on a house immediately before the two busiest weeks of the year. At one's job. The mismatch between my list of things urgently needing to be done, and the amount of time I have in the next two weeks to do them, is hilarious. And also perhaps throwing crap into boxe...

Just posting to wave hello, I'm alive, I'm maintaining. I haven't - Anna S. 22 May 2011 @ 03:50 pm. Just posting to wave hello, I'm alive, I'm maintaining. I haven't been online; mostly, I've been pacing out daily routines, or holding onto the rope of routine like taking steps through a white-out between lean-tos.and trying to make the first part of this sentence readable was effortful, so I think I'll just leave it at a wave for today. I feel as if I'm posting fugitively again, from my seat here in the - Anna S. 26 April 2011 @ 03:29 pm. I feel as if I'm posting fugitively again, from my seat here in the downtown Seattle Public Library. Each time I visit, more significance becomes associated with the actions; the people around me are on missions tense and meaningful. The pressure of compressed time pushes me; I keep forgetting to choose a length longer than the default thirty minutes and you can only log in once a day. On April 26th, 2...
